Brentwood Hotel

Having checked the pictures , the hotel looked ideal just for 2 nights, modern , clean , facilities and free parking with a 2 minute walk to Brentwood Elizabeth Line Station. Great I thought. The hotel staff were friendly and kindly let me book in 15 minutes early otherwise I couldn't book in until 2330 after work. I was on the first floor room number 2. Quickly put my stuff there and rushed off to work. When I returned after being in there for more than 5 minutes the smell was horrible, from the dirty stained, worn carpet, to the point I felt sick. I thought I would go to relax in the lobby loung area , but it was locked. The bed was uncomfortable, and I was in the room above reception so was woken nice and early by the noise. One positive is the lovely bacon smell from the breakfast covered the room smell 😊 As you can see from my pictures this isn't what is advertised on hotels.com, I had to check out and book into the Premier Inn the next morning. Upon checking out, I was offered to speak to the manager and shown another room, I declined and said why wasn't I offered this in the first place. I am extremely disappointed, I thought it would be lovely to support smaller hotels, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially when your paying the same price as a Premier Inn!

I stayed in a newly renovated room, fantastic bathroom and shower, very comfortable bed and will look to stay here again on another visit to the area.

Room was very spacious and clean

This is my new go to place to stay while in Brentwood! The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating! The room was perfect in every way! It had a small icebox which was a bonus. Steps from the Lizzy line, multiple pubs/restaurants/take aways & shops in walking distance, parking if you have a car hire. Better than the local chain on the other end of the street, on par with the super bougie accommodation down the road.

Stayed for a weekend visiting London and O2 so guest house was easy for train excess ability

Staff were helpful. Area is quiet and convenient to local amenities, dinning options, etc.

My friend and I were accommodated in 2 double rooms either side of a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. Everything was protected by a pass key. The only time we've stayed in this sort of accommodation was a few years ago in Lanzarote so we really appreciated having the extra space.

First room had no heating or hot water and had an odour, and this was sold to us as an upgrade. We are in our sixties and it was on the top floir wirh stairs. Shower was a showwr head from the taps with no holder. Second room was alao on the top floor, again with no heating. Staff were helpful and pilite but did nor fix it. Shower was under a sloping roof over the bath, not very accessible. Would not stay again.

Great little find, a short walk from Brentwood centre. We had a compact room, but had everything we required. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Situated in a quiet side street, ample parking available at property. Easily surpassed our expectations based on the bargain price.

We had a really lovely stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spacious clean and new. Will definitely be back!

Very clean, check in receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Plenty of parking and literally 1 minute to the tube station. Thoroughly recommend.

Overall very happy with the room and the stay. The bathroom being separate from the room the towels would be better left in there. Bed was comfortable however the bed moves if you’re resting against the headboard which is attached to wall and not bed. The shower head needs to be attached to the wall as there is no holder to use it unfortunately there was a boiler in the way

Amazing stay! I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff are wonderful - super friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are clean and the rooms are large and spacious. Perfect stay!
