Chelsea House Hotel is a simple hotel, but deserves high praise. It served my needs very well. I like to stay in Earl’s Court when I am in London, and the hotel’s location was perfect. My room was cleaned daily, it was spacious, and had good light through the window. Breakfast was plentiful.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Felt like a guest house should feel, nothing was too much trouble. Location was great for tube, buses, shops. There was a lovely small play park nearby for the kids. It had a trampoline, trees, squirrels, sand pit, and all the usual swings and slides. Rare to find in London and great for the kids to have a play. Lovely spacious family room with proper beds for everyone Great hot, powerful shower with toiletries Warm and clean Kettle, cups, glasses provided in room, with tea coffee etc filter coffee and decaffeinated was available when asked Nice area, felt safe

Fairly new bathroom but black mildew in the grouting and all around the edge of the shower. Space very tight and stairs only to the bedrooms, we were on the second floor. A very mean breakfast even though we were not expecting a cooked breakfast. Could be so much better with a few tweaks.

Breakfast was good. But rooms were a little too warm, the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are flat. Good price for the area, but would find someplace else preferably in the future.

Stayed here as a very last minute change of plan as I had family in the local hospital. Cheap & cheerful - the room was very tired & certainly needs some attention, but it was perfectly comfortable & the breakfast was plentiful. Good value for location, but not necessarily somewhere I’d recommend for a romantic getaway..

Wonderful, welcoming hotel. We stayed three nights at the Chelsea House in mid-September and were really pleased with everything. Yes, it is an older building and shows its age in some places, but it is spotlessly clean, well located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was ample size for a couple, with a good bed. We were on the second floor and it was very quiet. Hotel is in the lively Chelsea area with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. A 24-hr convenience/off- licence store about two-min walk. Note that there is definitely traffic noise at night, esp as it is near a hospital so there are sirens and other traffic noises. The windows are not soundproof so bring earplugs. No problem sleeping that way. Breakfast was included and the woman running the food service was lovely and friendly. It was a simple but adequate breakfast, toast, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, coffee. It was perfect for us and plenty of space to sit (although it got busier later in the morning). We had an issue with our hot water in the shower and the managers took care of it right away, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, a charming old hotel that fit the bill for us!

This is a LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION "hotel", or I would refer to it as a Bed & Breakfast. My Mom and I visited London for three days and stayed at Chelsea House for three nights. This is very quaint and older little bed and breakfast or an inn. The service at check-in is not exactly mind-blowing. The "cleaning" is very basic. They do the bed and hang up the towels or maybe provide new towels. No AC in the room for people that cannot live without it. We were able to manage with the fan in the room but having both windows open for some air at night time instead brought in a lot of street noise. The breakfast is basic continental with toast, butter, cheese, jams etc, fruits, coffee and tea. My Mom really liked the breakfast. I am not a b-fast person. Overall, for the total price of approx 440 pounds for three nights, and the great location, this worked out well. But if you are looking for luxury or at least three stars, this is not it.
