Commodore Hotel Bournemouth by Greene King Inns

Room was fine & clean with a comfortable bed. Lovely view of the sea but no handwash in the container in the bathroom. Pub quiz very noisy until 11pm & unable to sleep & then fire alarm went off at 12.20am ( False alarm)

Everything was great though they could do with a bigger carpark but that can't be !!

The sea view from the room was superb. The room itself was tired but relatively clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff/bar food were good. The downside was the sewerage smell in the bathroom. At midnight the toilet backed up and I had to call for someone to come and deal with it, which he did quite quickly. But the smell in the room during the night was so bad it was impossible to sleep without the windows wide open. Not ideal for the time of year. The same toilet issue happened in another room with another member of the group, and the sewerage issue really needs to be addressed because it spoils an otherwise pleasant stay.

Check in was easy and straightforward. We were greeted by friendly staff. The room was clean and presentable. However, it was quite cold. Also you could hear the wind and rain really easily outside, we tried closing the windows as much as possible, but there were some visible gaps still. I can imagine it being really nice in the summer. It is ver well located. We had dinner at the pub downstairs and it was nice. Really pet friendly with some dog bowls available also. For breakfast we had the english and continental breakfast and the choice was good enough for us. When we arrived at breakfast we were asked for the room number, upon providing it, the lady stated that we shouldn't have stayed in that room as although it's a family room, it’s not pet friendly due to allergies. I get the allergy point of view, but made me wonder where would families with a pet stay. Anyway, the lady was friendly and stated it wasn't our fault. Overall, for 1 night it was good.

yes very clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant will certainly stay there again if i'm down that way, it is well sited for beach and shops.

Check in and check out was so easy! The food from the restaurant was good as well. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the beach.

Only one night prior to flying, no breakfast but slept well and young guy checking us in was very pleasant.

Great value for money and superb location for Southbourne and beaches

Great 2 night stay, lovely room with a beautiful view. Ideal location for us as visiting family in Southbourne. Lovely food, I had the chicken and ham pie both nights, it was that good. Entertainment over the road at the Beach cafe both afternoons, which was a bonus in the fab weather we had. Definitely return

Bedroom perfectly fine, clean and comfy Food not so great. Good choice but not the best cooking. Parking is a pain!

The weather was fantastic, came here for a baby shower, that was amazing, hotel were so helpful, really couldn't do enough, staff are lovely, friendly, accomadating, helpful, really fantastic, would definitely stay again.

Great sea views from bedroom at a reasonable price. Comfortable beds.Taps not marked H. & C. Stairs needed cleaning. No comfortable lounge area only assorted pub chairs. Easy access to usual pub food all day but fried breakfast overcooked. Very helpful & friendly staff.

Check in was friendly and welcoming. Ate a snack in bar,service was quick and food was excellent. Bathroom had bio friendly soaps,which considering the seaside location, I thought was a good idea.overall a good experience.
