Great position in The New Forest; train station and bike hire less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. Nice light airy room and great to have allocated parking spot.

Had a great stay in a beautiful room. Was made so welcome with coffee and cake on arrival and my name of a parking space. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely use the hotel next time I'm in the New Forest. My only complaint - I wasn't there long enough.

We all had a superb stay here. The Hotel make you feel so at home and greet you with a Tea/Coffee and a slice of cake upon arrival. Parking is right in front of the hotel off the main road and has be reached by going over a cattle rig structure. The in structure is quite simple to get over. The Exit one is a different kettle of fish as it goes up into the air and drops down over on to the curb. I know for a fact if I had brought my sports car I would have never been able to leave that way as it would have grounded the car in the raised cattle grid. When you do get in to the car park the area is laid out into individual bays which are marked out with lengths of wood. Your name will be at the head of one of these bays which is a nice touch. Don't be put off parking your car with regards the exit cattle grid as you can basically park your car along the road outside as I saw a number of other cars doing just that. The rooms are cosy and spacious. We loved our room overlooking the car park. Breakfast is superb and you really cant go wrong. There is a restaurant on site which does evening meals and non residence use this as well. We never ate here in the evening but many did. In the snug room where you will wait upon arrival there is an honesty fridge with beers, wine, prosecco, cider etc. These are realistically priced and all you do is fill in one of the small sheets with your name, room, drink, quantity and cost and they will work it out and add this on your bill at the end.

I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!

My stay at Cottage Lodge was short and sweet (2 nights). The check-in was welcoming, enhanced by a lovely cup of tea and cake. The room (William 1st) was very spacious with all the basic amenities, e.g. coffee-making facilities, towel warmers, heater, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and delivered with a smile. Highly recommend and hope to be back with friends in the spring or summer.

What a lovely hotel this is, it was a pleasure to meet the staff who were all just so friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was simply fabulous. Perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the New Forest, within a stones throw of the village and pubs. We will most definitely be back.

The toilet seat was loose, the bed quite lumpy so didn’t sleep too well, could do with a shelf near the sink area and a mirror closer to the plug socket to be able to dry hair closer. On the plus side the welcome was fab, the food delicious but downside The Whitetail Restaurant onsite was rushed.

Cottage lodge hotel is situated in a lovely spot within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. Tea/coffee and cake on arrival was most welcome. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Would return and recommend.

Had a one night stay with my partner, the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and we had a lovely pot of tea and some cake on arrival for free! The only thing I would mention is that we stayed in the ‘little Alice room’ and while it was fine for us, for anyone hitting the 6ft+ hight it may feel a little claustrophobic in there as the doors and ceiling heights are lower than standard.

Stayed for a wedding reception nearby. Comfy, practical and lovely staff/owners. Very welcoming.

Très beau cottage avec un gérant qui soigne ses hôtes ! (Et qui parle parfaitement français 😉) Situé en plein centre de Brockenhurst et à proximité des principaux sites du New Forest nous avons pleinement profiter de nos deux nuits avec de belles balades en vélo et de belles visites ! Les chambres sont très spacieuses et décorées avec goût et le petit déjeuner est vraiment excellent ! Une adresse à retenir sans hésiter
