The welcoming was warm & friendly, bedroom and bathroom spotless and the bed comfortable. WiFi was good and there was a lot of choice for breakfast - the cooked breakfast was really good. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Room was far better than you’d expect from somewhere that’s labelled an ‘inn’. Food was very good too. No hesitation recommending.

We really enjoyed our stay. Thank heavens for the air conditioning! Nice pub and food was wonderful! Loved our little visit with owners dog, Mable. Very well behaved and friendly.

Negatives: - wobbly toilet roll holder; - No decaff coffee, only two UHT capsules of milk on arrival; - Duvet covers and pillowslips not ironed; Inconsistent service at dinner in the bar.

Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Ideally located close to the M5 which appealed to us. Would stay again.

Great rooms in a local lively pub, friendly staff

We’ve stayed at the Crossways several times over the past 5 years and have ALWAYS had a pleasant stay however, on this occasion although the accommodation was the usual high standard the food in the restaurant was very poor, we did mention this so the staff were aware, the food was poorly presented and quite chewy (I’m particularly talking about the lasagne) the gluten free options for my mother were limited (no gf bread/bun) they used do amazing chunky chips but are now soggy fries, I’m not sure what’s changed but it is such a shame as this let down the stay somewhat. I will end in a positive that the breakfast was its usual fabulous and the lady who serves us is extremely pleasant and friendly, a real asset to the business, we will be returning in the hope it was just a one off bad meal.

We have stayed several times at crossways and had no problems. We love it there. Great place. Great food. Unfortunately this time the room was very cold. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. No hot water. Sink wouldn't empty. Asked for hot water and waited 30 mins and no reply. Went back and told abruptly that we were changing rooms. Waited another hour and decided to go to bed. Abruptly woken by someone knocking on the door later. Gave up and stayed where we were as nearly 11p.m. very disappointed this time .

Stayed here over 10 times now no problems whatsoever free parking good food and the Wi-Fi now works much better than it did a few years ago

What a gem of a place, stopover for us but great room with superb comfort. Excellent bed and pillows very clean and tidy. Breakfast is superb.
