Hotel was dirty. Food from bar sent back as the sandwich had no filling. Dead bugs on the stairs and on the window sills next to the table in the restaurant. Hot breakfast was in fact cold. Don’t visit - certainly not worth the money and like no other Crowne Plaza that I have visited.

The hotel was fine but we had a terrible night sleep because of noisy guests. We booked this hotel rather than a budget alternative to avoid this type of behaviour. I’ll choose somewhere else next time.

Couldn't really fault our stay in any way. Reception were very friendly & courteous & particularly happy to help which was very welcoming. Breakfast service was also first class. Would certainly recommend this hotel if staying in Sheffield. It's about a 15-20min walk to the city centre.

Had some food from the bar menu and enjoyed it. Bar service a little slow with one pint poured badly. Service improved as the evening went on. Room was very comfortable although tv looked like it was about to fall off the wall. Aircon was working thank god. Breakfast was plentiful but a mixture of cool, lukewarm and hot items wasn’t the best but was starving so powered my way through it.

Recent investment has clearly raised the standard throughout the hotel. Facilities look refreshed and well maintained. Staff were exceptional — friendly, professional and attentive. Some of the best service we’ve experienced; every team member we met went out of their way to help. Evening meal was very good and clearly made from fresh ingredients. My wife and I both had the steak: cooked perfectly and served with proper home‑cooked chips — a real treat. Parking is safe, convenient and easy to access, which made arrival and departures stress‑free. Because of this experience we’ll be visiting Sheffield more often for both leisure and business. Our colleagues and I now plan to use Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Sheffield as our preferred hotel while working in the city. Highly recommended for quality accommodation, excellent service and reliably good food.

We had a lovely stay here and was so impressived by the building and value for money of the place. The room was spacious and very clean and the aircon was an added bonus Can’t fault it And would definitely come back

Very nice hotel, very clean and tidy, little disappointed with the parking charge when we paid nearly £350 for 3 nights and still had to pay £18 for on site parking? also no food (breakfast) involved, ranged from £13 to 18 extra if wanted breakfast, we will be booking again because of how clean and tidy it was so this isn't a review to bad mouth the hotel just disappointed with a couple of things thats all

Staff were amazing, food absolutely delicious, thank you to the restaurant manager and Ewan. Unfortunately a few groups were around with limitations to the bar ‘Prom night’, which vastly reduced where to socialise. The elevator is quite small and dated )a new one is in construction). Access for wheelchair/scooter very limited, the doors need to be a both way action, trying to pull a door towards you was a struggle whilst driving the scooter.

We loved staying here! The room was Gorgeous, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There was a high school dance happening and the exciting festivities did not interrupt our stay and the noise level was Very well contained. My elderly parents room was perfect with accommodations for elderly visitors (walk in shower, multiple phones, total accessibility). There was tons of free parking and the exterior was very well maintained. We loved our stay!

we dined in restaurant 3 nights on the sunday the food had to be sent back the steak was undercooked when it was asked to be well done the chips were undercooked An additional leafy salad ordered was a handful of dry rocket ,so different from the previous delicious meals ,We were told it was a different chef that night and the servers were so apologetic and although we received a discounted meal it did mar some what the enjoyment of our stay other than that it was excellent,

It was just a stay on way to Hexham from Hertfordshire. It's roughly halfway and an absolute treat clean,convertable and luxurious

I liked the staff; everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful. The hotel as a whole looks old, and the carpet on the corridors' floors is very worn and outdated. The white and naked walls without decorative art or paintings on every floor make the corridor look like a cold and low character, even though the staircase looks phenomenal. The room is nice, has a good size, the bed is fine, but there is zero sound isolation, and I could hear every single noise coming from the corridor. The bathroom is renovated, with great lighting, comfortable towels, but the shower cubicle is tiny, especially taking into consideration the average British man/woman body size. The bath robes were a great touch, but they are very small for a man...my husband could not wear his comfortably. In the morning, when I was showering, the fire alarm went off 3 times, and I panicked! My husband called reception to ask what was going on, and he was told that it was a mistake...but it happened 3 times during my shower...imagine how scary that was?
