No A/C and no room service. The main 2 reasons I stay in hotel. Rooms were very hot and I saw several others complaining. 1receptionist very apathetic the others were great. The fan provided in first room was full of dust and fluff. Fire hazard. Second room had a clean fan. The rooms were very clean. First room was very small and I was told I booked a cosy room. I had not. Second room was larger. The pool area and changing rooms very clean. The pantry at the side of reception was good. I suggest the local harvester, for food if you are on a budget. It’s 5 minutes walk from door to door.

I waited in the swimming pool changing rooms for 45 mins with my little boy who was desperate to get in the pool. We were told maintenance were on there way to fix the lockers which were all damaged. I had my phone, wallet, and car keys with me. I didn't want to just leave them in an open locker. 3 times I went to reception. He eventually turned up and said reception were aware the lockers were damaged and he could not fix them. Unbelievable. I had to go back to reception to leave my valuables as the room was so far away. Then the room was very small. Lamp shades was dirty dust everywhere. And the tv didn't even work. Not the best experience as I travelled from Staffordshire to relax and ended up been very angry and stressed.

The grounds around the hotel are well kept and the location is close tot he airport. The staff is nice but not kind. Anyone wearing a jacket won’t do anything to help you. The lower staff try as much as they can to help with any request but overall don’t count on the staff to solve any minor inconvenience. They only have cable TV. No streaming services or way to watch anything other than British cable TV. They wont allow you to reheat any food and the restaurants a the hotel are 3/10. The rooms don’t have fridges, you’ll have to use a communal fridge if you want to save any food or drinks. The drinks at 1705 bar are 0/10. Ordered an espresso martini and was handed a glass of foam. The cleanliness inside of the hotel is not up to part either. Overall save your money! If your only goal is to disconnect and go on walks this may be for you but if you wanted to rest and have a relaxing stay look elsewhere because the staff here, will stress you out.

Family room includes a small double sofa bed, not suitable for 2 children. Rooms don’t have air conditioning. The main hotel building is nice but nearly all accommodation is in multiple blocks to the rear that I would liken to an early 90s roadside Travelodge. The reception was chaos when we arrived with a lot of people trying to check in and children running around. Would not recommend or stay again

We feel the bedroom was very small, probably to fit the small bed. The evening meal had one very poor main course and was hardly eaten - please avoid the Risotto as it was so stodgy. It was taken away with no apology or offer to remove from the bill. Breakfast was disappointing as all the hot food was actually Luke warm or cold. The restaurant area reminded my Wife of a badly run Butlins’ canteen.

The hotel was lovely. My personal gripe was that our bathroom door had a large opaque window in it. If we had known that we wouldn't have stayed there. Breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo. The few staff they had did their best but it was clearly not good enough. I'm afraid that we would not stay again.

We enjoyed our stay on a whole, very clean and food was good. I would say that it may be helpful to let customers know that their room has quite a few stairs within the room itself. If you had someone who stuggles even a little then they would not manage to get to bed. Also once up the stairs there isnt much natural light at all due to a fixed blind that covers most of the window thats on the stairs which is a shame as the room is very nicely presented other than that.

This hotel is a hotel like no other! After reading the reviews, I was worried about the heat and lack of fridges etc …. However I can’t believe anybody can say anything bad about this place ! It’s not just a hotel it’s an estate so the land and play areas make it extra special ! The rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant food is excellent and the check in was quick and easy ! The rooms were cool with windows open and a fan provided. The pool is nice with loads of floats for the kids. I didn’t want to leave and I would return with my family.

Hotel photos and room descriptions are misleading. Service is pretty much non existent. Restaurant needs cleaning, servicing and more variety. 1- We got accommodated in an old building behind the beautiful hotel that we see in the advertised photos. We were told that the nicer building and rooms are fully booked. To note there are no lifts in the main hotel either. The hotel website must show photos of the older buildings and rooms as well as the new parts. 2- The staff have no clue how to be friendly or helpful to guests. Service is really bad, no room service, no water in the room, not even basic facilities like mini bar, cups in the bathroom or AC. The room had plug in fans which didn’t help in the midst of the hot British summer. 3- Main restaurant is average, the buffet far from great, options are limited and even the roast beef was mediocre. Servicing at the restaurant is hit and miss, tables outside aren’t cleaned or serviced. It would have been great to have parasols for example. All in all, lovely grounds around the hotel and the hotel building looks beautiful on the outside (the white building), but to stay there is something else, an experience we won’t repeat or recommend to anyone.

The hotel restaurant also took an extra payment for our meal, which I had paid for, still not yet resolved. No robes in room, deffo not deluxe. Hotel to hot. Food ok not a lot of choice. Cocktails good. Beds awful, didn’t sleep. Not looking forward to next two nights.
