Booked this hotel for my in laws as they were attending a funeral in Surrey. Staff were very helpful and found a new room for them on the ground floor when they realised my mother in law struggled with stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional with an excellent range of options. Would stay again.

Superior Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Restaurant is clean, breakfast well cooked. Gym and pool pretty quiet. The setting of the hotel is very nice and peaceful. Lots of greenery and fresh air.

I had a fantastic stay at De Vere Horsley estate. It is spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. The pool was a good size, though not very deep, and perfect for a relaxing dip. I enjoyed exploring the expansive property on my own. The staff were exceptional, and the food was excellent. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!"

We have voted this down by one star as the towers was only for exclusive use of wedding guests during our stay. Our room was a lengthy walk from reception, and was smaller than we hoped. It was quite crowded with furniture so that the small wardrobe was blocked by a chair. The hotel is very much geared towards being a conference centre and individual guests not as well catered for as we hoped. The breakfast is great, although we didn’t eat in the evening. Try the Indian restaurant near the hotel as it is amazing. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, the grounds are beautiful but ultimately it wasn’t anything special.

Bar service slow one person working on a Sat night. Also ordered champagne for my room in Thursday and wasnt in my room whwn i walked in at 7pm. Also didnt have the right one I ordered initally.

Lovely little weekend break, great facilities clean fresh room, nice swimming pool, bonus was the restaurant. Had a lovely buffet 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. Didn't need to leave hotel. Would stay again.

Convenient one-night stay. Overall very good. It's all in a new building, not the one shown in advertising. Only let down by poor wifi (would have been useful as zero EE signal). Pool is nice, but changing arrangements are odd... need to take towel from room, and most lockers broken. Good breakfast. Easy parking. No EV charging.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location, the setting is really lovely, very peaceful and rural, stunning surroundings and historic buildings. Excellent food too Unfortunately the pool was out of action during our stay. Other than that all very good.

disappointed with the accommodation we were in and I was expecting more from a De Vere Hotel where we had paid a premium for a superior room which wasn't that special. We were part of a large group and check in was totally chaotic as rooms were not ready and we had to queue for ages. The staff were stretched but did their best to help. Would not go out of my way to book a De Vere hotel again.

We’ve stayed here before but we were so disappointed this time. The room smelt like stale smoke, the shower flooded the bathroom. The carpets were dirty. It was meant to be a superior room but I’ve had better rooms in budget hotels. No idea how it’s labelled a 4-star hotel.

The swimming pool was closed and had been for some time for refurbish. Due to open next week Service was sporadic, some good some bad. Had to request towels on the second day
