Just needed a overnight place to watch the football. This suited me perfectly. Bed was comfy. I didn't use the TV or the shower ( early train to catch) but I did appreciate the very hot water for my shave. A little bit out of the way( 14 minutes)in terms of catching the bus to the city centre, but there were plenty of buses to choose from. The walk to the bus stop might not be so pleasant in December. The kitchen was fine with a good selection of drinks.

A great option in a match day. The hotel is unstaffed but the instructions were very clear. The room is spacious and clean for the price. Not a convenient location but easy access to local transportation taking you to the city centre.

When arriving to the accommodation. We were unable to get in the building until somebody luckily exited. We were then told by a very helpful person working there The building has been sold and is no long in use for accommodation. It is now housing people as a hostel. We were the 4th person that this had happened to on the day. Unfortunately due to this lack of information from the parties involved. We had to seek alternative accommodation for the night. Due to there being an event on so due the lack of hotels available weve had to pay nearly 3x the cost of our original booking

Trued to call this property several times but no respond, when we arrived in the middle of a storm we couldn’t get in even though we had codes, it actual looked like it was completely closed, luckily they hadn’t taken any money. We then though had to find other accommodation I would cancel if you have booked and I also wouldn’t book with Expedia again as their customer service was shocking

Looks dated outside but inside is quite good. There’s a kitchen with items that you never know you going to need like aluminium foils, cling films, etc. Comes handy. Room just as you paid for, it’s clean but could do with new sheets, pillows and towels as well. Parking looks dodgy outside but is actually safe. Near the city centre probably bout 2-3miles away.

Good clean basic room.En-suite modern bathroom. Nice view of the river and working docks. Easy access without any staff. Received email 2 days before the stay with all entry codes. Good kitchen with all utensils, toaster, kettle pans etc. 2 full size fridge/freezers. 1 mile to new Everton stadium. 3/4 mile to Sandhills train station which has soccer buses to Goodison or Anfield on match days. The train station goes directly into Liverpool city centre. City centre is 2.3 miles walk all along easy one road route.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room for my two night stay at Dockside Lodge. The bed was a king size, the en-suite was clean and tidy and the room had a fair sized TV. There is an onsite kitchen which has everything you need for a stay and just next door there is small cafe for breakfast if you don't want to cook for yourself. The local shopping mall is a short walk away and this was really convenient for me as I was going to a gig at the Salt and Tar next door. Brilliant value for the price and well recommended.

The kitchen is supposed to be a communal area where customers eat, make drinks, cook etc, but it was disappointing to see those beddings put on top of the cooker and table, there was also a snotty tissue left on the worktop (did not take photo of it as it was disgusting)
