Edward Hotel Paddington

The whole hotel is in old and not really looked after. The room was tiny and the bed not comfortable at all. An expensive room for not a very pleasant experience

We were originally put in the room underground it was awful damp smell . We were then put up to the 2nd floor very small room not in great condition . Would not stay there again

The staff were all very polite, helpful and kind. I felt very welcome. The room was very small and a little run down but really well located close to Paddington, pubs and restaurants.

The room was small but had everything we needed, was conveniently located and the beds were comfortable. The shower was excellent.

The staff were very nice,the room was very small no room to open wardrobe,or go past the other person.we expected there to be hand wash ,shower gel,shampoo. There was only half a toilet roll.the furniture was very worn.But for the price and the convenience of being so close to Paddington station good.Its was ok for a night stay but could not stay in the room for longer.

+ 24 hr reception & lift to 4th floor + Good location + Small clean room - enough space for 1 person + Kettle/wardrobe/towels/tea/coffee/small desk/soap - all in decent order for use - You can hear everything around you - a washing machine was running into the night and early morning, sleep was therefore limited - The bed linen smelled damp/musty - The water pressure in the shower was limited

Simple small room for a solo traveller for a no fuss overnight stay. Comfortable bed, shower was fine. Easy to find from Paddington train station. Lots of places to eat at within 5 minute walk.

A/C excellent/ check-in staff super helpful/ location couldn’t be better. Rooms small but super clean and comfortable with no noise Definitely be back

Conveniently close to Paddington station. My ‘suite’ was a gloomy basement room with a faintly sordid vibe. (Mirror above the four poster bed; somewhat theatrical black and silver bathroom). It had its own separate entrance from outside the hotel. No soap or shower gel in the bathroom. However bed was comfortable; receptionist was charming; tv worked; ac available although also possible to open (safely barred) window. Given location and price it was okay for my brief visit.

Very friendly staff and room was nice and clean. Highly recommend this hotel.

Basic rooms but clean, no frills, not even a water glass! Great location yards from Paddington station, reasonably priced. All you need for a quick overnight trip.

Amazing staff and service. Room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Will be staying there again the next time I am in London.

Everything was mostly fine I’d say my room maybe tight for 2 ppl seeing the double bed. But for 1 person it’s ok. Only gripe was window wouldn’t fully close and when asking front desk another rooms TV was loud I didn’t hear anything change. So I had to go knock myself and with immediate response the TV was turned down. It sounded like the TV was played in my room it was so loud. Noticed at 22:00 didn’t mind, then 01:00 minded a little then woke up 05:00 to the same volume. Apart from that 1 night £184 on a Thursday, I’d say is little steep but mostly ok and if I had to use I would again. And I may use the suite instead as 4 nights for a couple is far cheaper than a single night alone. As for the window was muggy and mild so it not closing wasn’t an issue but maybe for future winter months. And air con when room was warm, was loud. But all good and average, clean and staff were nice.

Great location due to access to Paddington Station.

The team was amazing in accommodating my needs and the room amazingly clean and fit for my stay. Although it made me giggle with the mirror on the four posted bed in the suite room. 10 out 10.

This quaint hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from Paddington station and the national rail service. Plenty of places to shop and eat around, and the neighborhood is quiet. If you are in London to see the sights, this is the place to base from.
