The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows. The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated. The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. We could hear people taking in the room above, but with earplugs all was well. They weren't noisy. The food had been talked up and we had high expectations for dinner, but honestly it was absolutely fine, nothing to write home about. Highlight was mackerel patented starter- that was delicious. Breakfast debacle - we had booked for 8am, and were told when we ordered that the chef had slept in and hadn't arrived (in ataff house next door). Even though he turned up at 8.30 we still didnt get our breakfast till after 9am. A bit outrageous to wait that long for eggs on toast. The waitress was very apologetic and took the breakfast off our bill, but I thought it was poor form for the chef to put her in that position, pretty awful for her to constantly apologise for him.

A lovely boutique hotel right on the river Thames. Our room was lovely and cosy ; comfy bed and nice bath ( though there was a leak which we reported) ; It was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was ok - no fruit or GF cereal for a reason that did not stack up ; No GF sausages which is just lazy chefing ( I say this on many reviews) so a GF breakfast reduces to bacon egg and beans - not a problem but with a bit of thought , could be so much better at £15. Does not detract from the fact we would stay again

Ferryman's Cottage is part of the Beetle and Wedge. My room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The food and service at the B&W was excellent with pleasant staff and just the right amount of attention. Breakfast was first class with hot croissant and a well cooked feast whilst enjoying the view over the River Thames. Ferryman's Cottage is a hidden treat and I would certainly return on a future occasion.

Very nice friendly place right on the banks of the River Thames, so good for a morning walk before breakfast. Breakfast was very nice and met my expectations. Room was comfortable and had what was required, although the foot fall from the room above was very noticeable during my stay, which was a little annoying.
