Great location staff are wonderful

The hotel simply put is a pig sty! Avoid at all costs! We were locked in and could not get out until 8am in the morning. All exits incluing fire exits were blocked. I made a complaint to head office and they are as rude as the staff! The room was full of spiders. We ended up sleeping head to toe in a sigle bed (had booked a twin room) and as I said we could not leave the property as exits were locked. Refused a refund even with evidence.

Stayed for two nights, bed was comfy and you get what you pay for the price,nothing fancy but everything was clean. The only downside that I didn’t enjoy was the cleaner blaring her radio of classic fm at 8am at full blast. Did not enjoy that wake up call!!! Maybe some earphones wouldn’t go a miss! Besides that, no complaints what so ever!

The room was clean, but basic. Bed was ok. No reading lights in the room. The only way to be able to read was to have the main lights on. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing. No shelf either, the only "shelf" was the top of the toilet cistern. No literature about anything at all, times of meals etc. It was only when we went to get breakfast on the first morning that we found out that that was at extra charge, the price paid was room only. We only had one breakfast at the hotel, we ate out for all meals during the rest of our stay. Not good value for money. We will not be using this hotel again.

We arrived 6.30pm reception closed. We went to local asda to get some food hoping reception would be open on our return. Still closed. So no one to ask for, coffee, Wi-Fi code if they had one. We got back to our room and someone had been in while we was out. No one to complain to. So barricaded the door with our case. The Room extremely dated and stained floor. Bed very uncomfortably, Shower very small needed a door open to enable to bend over to wash feet. The worse bit was the noise. We had travelled over 4hrs and wanted a goods night sleep. 2 lots of extremely loud musix thomping through into the room. When we checked in to get room key at 2pm no mention of parties no mention of anything. Terrible service will not return and will not recommend anyone going there.

Last minute booking due to arriving a terrible accommodation elsewhere. The receptionist could not have been more helpful and the bar staff are all very friendly

After booking this property for me and my kids waited for manager to call me over a week walls and skirting food on them hairs in the beds family friendly pub yet kids out bar by 8 and party blasting music till late more like a pub from shameless after numerous calls from myself got nowhere defo will not stay again

It was ok and quiet

This was very well priced. Despite being in a run down neighbourhood, the room was clean and acceptable. The girl on reception was very pleasant and willing to be of assistance.

The breakfast was lovely. The staff we lovely. The hotel is lovely with a bit of character. The pub was lovely and the beer was lovely too. Lovely and quiet. Rooms were basic but lovely and clean. Price is great. Definitely recommend staying here.

Saturday night was very noisy in the street under single bedroom with drunken abusive shouting - window had to be open on a hot night because no A/C in the room. Breakfast was very reasonable for £5.50

This is a good hotel especially for working people. It’s reasonable price , good food and good location

Lovely hotel, stayed in a triple room which was very spacious. Easy to get to and handy for the football. Staff very friendly

Lovely friendly place to stay

The room décor wasn't great, very drab, lots of brown, unmatching pillow cases and the mattress base was visible. Felt an unloved room to be honest. The TV was quite small and having stayed there previously for a more budget room it was disappointing the room was worse than the first one we stayed in. The noise from the hotel generator impacted on my sleep on both occasions as couldn't switch off from it a night. The bathroom had marks running down all walls that were slightly oily touch. Not sure what that was? There was also an empty wine bottle and glass left outside our room on top of a radiator for the two days we were there. The bed was comfortable and the room size was good but I wont be staying there again.

The night pub close at midnight. Very loud music. Noisy!noisy! Can't get to sleep until the the pub closing time.
