George Albert Hotel & Spa

Great size room, cot provided. We were pre-warned of Christmas parties being on over the weekend and had been put further away from an potential noise, we didn't hear a thing and weren't disturbed at all.

Spacious room but small window looking out on rooftop so not a space to relax and enjoy particularly. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was pretty standard. Teas and coffee from a flask. The nicer seating area is for spa guests. Spa is a separate business and treatment was lovely but you have to pay to use the sauna, steam room and hit tub. They have their own opening hours and there's no pool which you kind of expect with the Spa Hotel name. Odd location off the road and massive slightly run down park with seating out the front. Lovely on a warm day, but no garden. It's more of a conference /event hotel I would say. Nice walk to a lovely pub but hills on way back! Emporium next door.

Didn’t have breakfast. Plenty of parking on an open piece of land. (Shared with roadwork gang at far end).Didn’t see any cameras. Took tools off van for the night. All was quiet in morning

Didnt have a breakfast at hotel. Car park very large making parking easy. A lovely clean room and all staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

PERFECTION IS HERE What a pleasant and beautiful location and place From the room to the food everything is so grande, yet at an affordable amount for all I am so impressed, even though I live up north near Leeds and am getting married early next year, I can truly say I when found my location for my queen Cannot appraise enough Staff are what make it and sorry have not mentioned yourselves but from the reception to the bar to the chef all great and excellent service and professionalism ❤️💯🫡

The room was pretty standard and very clean. Bathroom was very modern, but the main suite was looking a bit dated. Bed was not as comfortable as it should have been. Breakfast was also average. Wifi was ok. We'd stay here again if visiting dorchester, yeovil or surrounding area for sure though.

Fantastic stay, unbelievably clean and well maintained. Rooms were big, bright and furnishings seemed quite new. Food in the restaurant was lovely and plentiful. The best thing is the staff, nothing is too much trouble from reception to the bar to the restaurants to the housekeeping. All staff were lovely but Helen and Richard were particularly amazing. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Adding a garden area would benefit the hotel

We only stayed for one night, but we were delighted with everything—from the clean and comfortable room to the restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious.

It was a lovely hotel with good quality fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was very good. All good and friendly staff.

The hotel seems like it is having a refurb. The rooms was clean and roomy. Outside area looked very inviting!

Booked mainly to use spa area for the 2 days ! When I checked in I was told spa is closed and I was supposed to reserve and also pay £20 per 2 hours to use This was not on the booking page as I checked Food was poor very greasy and did get a bad belly ! Cancelled my next night luckily the staff was very friendly and helpful

Beds comfortable and good shower. Breakfast was not great … no bread available, had to ask and hot food could have done with fresh refills.

Excellent. Nothing bad to report about this hotel. Very clean and spacious room and nice, comfortable bed. There is a huge car park and one EV charging point (un-tethered) which I didn't use on this occasion. Can't report on the restaurant as we didn't eat there.

The hotel was in quite place ,need a car to drive and shop around.Hotel inside was big and nice.Also our double room was huge and very clean.Nice hotel I fully recommend
