Holiday Inn Express LONDON HEATHROW T4 by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Room is comfortable and spacious, but there is no cabinet and desk. Feeling not convenient and could not unpack belongs. Bathroom is clean but there is no self to put any bath stuff other than one hock behind door. Good breakfast and services. Front desk staffs are helpful when asked for directions. No free shuttle bus between terminals. Only way is to take airport trains travel between terminals which can be cumbersome. We called Uber to Terminal 2, took 30 minutes and cost 39 GPB for such short distance.

The staff was super nice, check in was easy and fast. Everything was pretty ok other wise, but..... The carpet was very very dirty. I wouldn't walk on it without shoes. It smelled old and dirty. There were hairs on the linens as well. Other than that, it was a nice big room, loved the food choices downstairs and they were open late. easy access to terminal 4 by about a 3 minute walk. I took the train from there to terminal 5. easy. Free.

Went above and beyond making my mum feel special on her birthday when she unexpectedly had to spend her 75th birthday along in a foreign country!!

The property located in the HLR airport. Easy access for traveling.

Really nice clean room and bathroom. However, upon using the shower, the glass door hinges seem to be coming away from the wall. I was afraid that the whole thing would come crashing down on me. Also, the bed had no top sheet, it only had a duvet. Hopefully the duvet cover is cleaned for each guest.

It’s good if you have an early morning flight and need to be a quick walk from the airport. For the price you have everything you could need. Shower need to be looked at as no pressure or flow of water I get better flow from plant watering can.

Easy access from Heathrow makes this an excellent choice for an overnight at the airport.

First of all the hotel was advertised as being in terminal 4 it is absolutely not in terminal for it's a 15-minute walk in an above ground tunnel. We checked in at 11:30 at night the hotel clerk give us room which was down 500 ft of corridors past rooms that were mostly empty instead of one more conveniently close to the elevators. Finally to add insult to injury the front desk confirmed that they do have a shuttle bus to the airport as we chose not to spend 15 minutes walking back we got on the bus and the driver promptly explained to us that it was 13 Pounds Sterling for the two of us and not a free shuttle and then it turned out to be a route bus that took approximately 25 minutes to get to the terminal.

Rooms small but very well designed and catered for all a travellers needs. Really liked the toiletries supplied in the bathroom and how functional the room was - even an iron and board! Welcoming staff and good breakfast.

Just what I needed for one night transit

The hotel is conveniently connected by an enclosed pathway to terminal 4 departure hall. Will stay again.

Excellent hotel, perfect for arriving back to after along flight and to stay and get some sleep before our 3 hour drive home!

I’ve used this HI a few times to “bookend” trips to England, due to its convenience and good breakfast. The only criticism is I think the beds are really hard (and weirdly higher in the middle so you’re sleeping on a mound) but I know that’s a personal preference. Staff at reception and in the dining room and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful.

Place is great for a lay over or better way to stay in London. Free breakfast is great!!! Rooms a bit small but adequate. Staff was fantastic!!!!
