What a lovely hotel. The staff are a credit to you Couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile. Our room was perfect in all ways as was the hotel itself. Breakfast gave us a well thought out menu and the food first class. Would definitely visit again.

My first night here was terrible. I was given Room 8, which was cold, had no proper mattress, and the washing sink was oddly placed outside the bathroom. The shower cabin was awful, and overall this room should never be given to any customer. I spoke with the staff, and thankfully one of them was kind enough to move me the next day to a proper, warm room with a better shower. Breakfast was very poor – the coffee machine was “on holiday,” and the only things available were a croissant, an egg you have to boil yourself, some bread, and tea and some fruits.

Available parking, clean room, small but functional the en suite was very good, great shower. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional- breakfast was fabulous- good choice even the ability to boil your own eggs - a great touch. I had a light meal in the evening which was delicious I’ll definitely stay again

Not good if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs and long walk to room. Shower over bath with no shower curtain so floor got very wet.

Great hotel not too long a walk from the centre of town. Very good breakfast, enjoyed the selection. Bit of a trek up 2 flights of stairs but not an issue that would stop me booking again.

The hotel was perfect for my needs. My only complaint was going up two flights of stairs, across a landing and down two floors to get to my room. I would definitely come again if I could have a room with easier access.

Beautiful old building, the staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, parking at the front but also a good sized car park at the rear. Nice decor throughout. The bed was comfy but I felt the room was rather small and perhaps updating but I would certainly stay again when I'm next in the area

Wasnt much more than a taxi home , so decided to stay over , ive stayed here before when it was connected to mannings , they have done a very lovely refurb , the breakfast room is light and airy with a fabulous supply of bits and bobs , the only thing that let them down was the shower room but there is little they could do to update that without spending silly money

Room was quite small and en suite abit dated. However I had several phone calls after my stay by the hotel blaming me for a crack in their sink in the en suite, which I had nothing to do with. They were constantly calling me and texting me the pictures of the sink. The crack in the sink might have been there before I used the room for all I know. I only brushed my teeth in the sink. Apart from this the hotel was nice and staff were friendly.
