Everyone on staff is sweet and smiley! Very accommodating and welcoming. The breakfasts are cooked in the pub kitchen upon ordering, not continental-style. They make espresso drinks too! The room was quiet and cozy. I will return.

The hotel room was nice/okay. However the building got extremely hot, which made it difficult to sleep through the night. AC definitely needed.

After one dreadful night, we checked out and moved to The Premier Inn. There was damp in one of our rooms. The air conditioning unit was held together with sellotape and pumped hot air into the room making it unbearable to sleep at 33 degrees. I was offered a fan, bur as there were no electrical outlets, that was a ridiculous solution. The stair carpets were threadbare. The decor shabby. One room at the front of the building had double doors to a small balcony that could not accommodate the portable air conditioner and banged open and shut all night. It was the dreadful.

The en-suite Silicone around the shower was mouldy, there was no proper exraction fan in there and the aircon unit in the bedroom was freestanding talking up a large proportion of the room and was extremely noisy during use. Room didnt feel it had been properly cleaned and there's no lift so we had to struggle getting our suitcases up 7 flights of stairs. There was no lift

Nice place, good breakfast, nice room. Only drawback with an old property: no lift, and the window/curtains were in need of repair. But it didn't bother us.

Room was mostly fine. We stayed during a heatwave. Portable AC was brought in when we arrived, but taken out while we were out touristing. Staff can be a little hard to figure out who works at the pub and who works for the inn. So, getting service can be strange. Richmond was nice with nice shops and parks. Parking was relatively easy, just pay attention to the signs along the streets. Not bad, but I don't think we'd stay here again.

The room was dirty. Cracked cups. Windows old and rotten and couldn’t close. One window cracked. Hole in the bathroom door. Foreign objects in the bed so I slept on the towels. No air conditioning only a noisy fan. Plastic hose on that was broken. Curtains ripped and wouldn’t close properly. Coffee and tea offered in keep warm jugs at breakfast . No decaf. Plastic glasses for juice. I couldn’t order egg on toast I had to have salmon egg and toast. I had to ask for hot water to make my own decaf tea. I will not stay again. I was expecting more for a superior room and £160. Plus 12 pounds for the salmon breakfast

The check in was slow, I asked at the bar three times before someone came to check us in. They did help me try and find a room with a shower but unfortunately it was only bath tubs available. The room was spacious but run down. There was no air con and the window didn’t open much. There was a fan. The bathroom was small and looked unfinished. It all needs some renovating for the cost they charge.

We got room 21 which was at the very top of narrow stairs. Economy room that didn’t lived up to the photos on the website. If you are senior you wouldn’t like to clime those stairs. No area for opening suitcases unless you used the bed and a tiny bathroom. The prize of the room was far above acceptable. Restaurant and bar are cozy.

All of the staff we met were all absolultey wonderful. Really helpful, friendly and offered great customer service. They made our stay pleasant. The quality of the breakfast was first class and the Breakfst team went out of their way to make it a great expereince. Sadly the offer was limited ie no fruit, yogurt or cereals, however the quality made up for that. Sadly the room we were given was really disapointing especailly after reading so many glowing reports tiny, cramped and nowhere to sit . The bathroom was really small and the sink was just about adequate. We had tried quite a few times to message the hotel and also call them prior to our vist (which we had booked way back in August) but no body answered. This did not bode well. As ther is no reception as such we did not have an opportuity to ask anyone about changing the room. The room was adequate, and quiet which was good. There was a bus stop right in fornt of the hotle which was ideal as we were using public transport. The location was excellent fo our needs. Just very disappointed with the room. A big thank yu though to every single member of the staff team that we met, without them we would have been a bit grumpy!

Hotel was nice, staff made it excellent! Everyone so friendly and courteous. The area is really a fantastic little village area and it was so pleasant to walk around, even at night by myself. Felt completely safe. Also super close to Kew Gardens so makes it convenient. Food was delicious, didn't try any drinks.

Not bad for a london hotel but it is just rooms above a pub. A nice place to stay if you are visiting Kew Gardens. However, the room we stayed in had a single glazed window with very poor seals. So the room was cold alll night and the wind whistled through the window and rattled it. In addition the bed was incredibly hard (not just a firm mattress) and the sink in the bathroom was leaking. Look, it was fine: clean and reasonably priced and did us for a night but sometimes i think you wouldn't get away with this stuff outside London.
