We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point.
Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well.
Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting.
The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated.
Definitely recommend 10/10

Very nice cottage with a very helpful host.
I only stayed one night but it was pretty easy to find, on site parking too and the owner was nice and approachable. Good breakfast in the morning too which saw me on my way the next day.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Some of the facilities were a little dated and not squeaky clean, but overall good. The host/hotel owner was very friendly and very helpful with helping us find local activities etc. The breakfast was great, tasty food and lots of options to choose from! I would recommend this place, and I would certainly stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a picturesque spot with parking. Lovely bedroom with good heating and small ensuite. Friendly host and very good breakfast. Coffee was made from a coffee bag so could be improved. The steam train station is nearby on the lake with a good cafe where you can watch the train and get an espresso.
