The apartment was nice and in a great location. I picked this apartment because the listing said that it had limited on site parking which is one of the two requirements I was looking for when booking. In the confirmation booking email they said there was no onsite parking and recommended Q Park. So I used the link that was provided and booked through Q park only to discover later on when checking in that there was actually a closer car park. Other than the car parking we had a nice stay and loved the location.

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 beds and a sofa bed with a balcony and got a 1 bedroom apartment with 1 bed and 1 sofa bed and no balcony. Apartment itself is OK, the surrounding areas are not nice. Would be OK for stag or hen do if you get the right apartment.

Great area. The perfect location for everything we planned to do in Liverpool. But the apartment and entry itself was rundown. It was obvious it had been smoked in at some point. We noticed by smell each time we entered the apartment and because there was a cigarette burn in the couch’s arm.

Very disappointed. We have stayed in other apartments in Liverpool for the same money that have been much better. This apartment was very pokey. Had scratches on the doors, broken lamp shade, shower head did not work. I had to get someone out as the shower tray was bunged up and overflowed. Only one key in the box

Well located in the centre of Liverpool, however this place is set up to host hen's and bachelor parties so it's just the basics here. Very small, poorly equiped kitchen with furniture about to fall apart. Deposit is required which is not explained properly. The deposit is double the amount if you opt to pay in cash this was not communicated to me at all. If you're travelling looking for a place to prep some meals and a bit of space then this is not for you. Disappointed by the experience here. The accomodation is expensive for what it is.

Booked after reading reviews as seemed promising. Poor communication and difficult to contact after making booking. On arrival initial impression was ok but on closer inspection sadly not so good. Walls marked, kitchen utensils grubby, mismatched glassware and crockery. The glass furniture was desperately in need of polishing, sofa had undeterminable stains on it. I made the mistake of pulling back the bed sheet, mattress badly stained ( I opted to sleep on top of the duvet after that ). Bedside lamps in bedrooms had no bulbs in them. On checkout I contacted the company to address the issues, they did not bother to reply.... says it all really.

There is a lot to love at the Lord street Apartments such as the location - a short walk to the major Train station in Lime Street - it’s in a pedestrian mall and right near the massive Liverpool One shopping precinct. The area is swarming with shops and restaurant so incredibly convenient. Missed communication through hotels.com with our arrival time hampered our arrival but we managed to contact someone and made our way up to the apartment and collected our key only to open the door to find a crew of painters painting the room. We were asked to come back in 90 minutes - which we did to find a cleaner in the room. We came back an hour later to find very wet floors and a stench in the entire apartment. This stench got worse and was sourced to the shower cubicle. This stench was so bad that we were gagging. We tried calling about it but got a recorded message. The next day we sent a message - on our return that evening the smell was even worse after another call we managed to get onto someone who advised a plumber would attend the next day and fix it. So in all two of the nights there were horrendous with this disgusting smell. Once fixed we could actually use the bathroom. Overall the facilities are terrific with plenty of room, a huge fridge etc. some things were missing from the kitchen but we got by. The cleanliness of the floors needs to be looked at and a broom provided. The apartment was perfectly quiet and we didn’t see or hear anything.

Great alternative to a hotel. The property is about 2 minutes walk from Mathew Street so very central to all amenities. If you're looking for a central location in the beating heart of the city, this is the place for you. A bit noisy at night but above street level so not that bad. Highly recommended.

The Lord St hotel, on Lord street was an excellent place to stay. It was clean and fresh. Seemed to have been freshly decorated. It was an apt, so therefore no lobby as in a hotel. But the communication through Whatsapp was efficient. The key was in the lockbox as promised. The code to enter the main door worked flawlessly. The one drawback if any, was, it was a bit noisy. But not enough to take away from the experience.

You need to be sure and read the fine print about checking in. Since there is no front desk you have to notify in advance and you also have to go to a separate location to pay a deposit and get the codes to get in. The location can be tricky because it is a single door on the street that leads up to the apartments. Once we were checked in and found the location it was great. There was only one problem during our stay and that was that the fire alarm went off. We were checking out, so never found out why it went off.
