I stayed for one night on business. I was looking for somewhere just off the A38 and this was perfect. I was upgraded to a lovely huge room with views over the valley. Staff were incredibly warm and helpful. My meal was excellent in fact one of the best I’ve had in a while. The grounds are stunning. I wish I’d had my binoculars as the huge tree next to my room was alive with birds. I’d definitely return.

Gardens and building Lovely Could do with fan in room as unable to open window as sash cord broken Tv had linited channels as most weren't working Not able to order food in the evening in restaurant on a monday Cocktails £12 but it would have been helpful if there was a description on the menu of what each cocktail consisted of, rather than have to ask what each one was
