Nice hotel, got some great parts done ok parts. Check in on Saturday was very slow. Not sure why, but it took 25 mine to get checked in as some customers ahead of us, seemed to take forever to get resolved. Not sure why that was, staff, systems, or booking issues... Who knows, but with only 2 people before us, 25 mins is not great. The hotel is nice though,service is good, rooms are good, no real complaints. The lifts are very slow though and we thought they would break at any time.... Overall though,not a bad stay abd rooms were nice and quiet and comfortable which is the most important thing.

Stopped here previously with our doggy. This was a solo trip everything was good for me. Left something in the room called next day and they had it in lost property which got collected by my daughter that day. Service excellence

Lots of dishes not on the menu which is ridiculous for August holiday season. The room was very basic - bed, hangers and a chair. Very good parking facilities. Overall not bad.

Jacuzzi was broken. Staff didn't inform us at check in. The pool area is not monitored and other guests made the atmosphere very unrelaxing. Only ever one person on reception and took forever to check in or if you have any queries Cleaner didnt get to our room till after 3pm and we had run out of tissue etc. Had to use the loos in reception.

Receptionist at check in had bad energy for no reason.Came to the hotel about 2:30pm and I know check in is at 3pm so I was preapred to wait.I was told room was not ready with attitude and then 10 minutes later I was checked in.That seemed very shady to me.Then when it was check out time like to 11 am Im in my room getting ready I hear housekeeping knocking.I answer they say they will come back.So does housekeeping not know that my room is a check out room and that check out time is at noon?

The rooms are small and showing their significant age. The TV is positioned such that without great care you knock your shoulder against the hard wooden frame corner. The carpet in the bar and restaurant areas looks as if it was the original from decades ago when the hotel was first built.

Hotel very comfortable and staff friendly. Health suite was a bit disappointing. They have swim lessons in the pool for kids. There is a notice in reception as to when the lessons are running and the pool is cordoned so you can swim while the lessons are running but as the pool is very small anyway, it makes the swimming area even smaller so virtually impossible to swim. The jacuzzi was also not working so not really worth spending extra money on a hotel with a swimming pool.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed our stay so decided to stay here again. I didnt realise that they've recently decided to charge for parking so had to pay £24 to park for 2 nights. Make sure to prebook breakfast or that will be another £16 each. Overall not too bad,but room was a bit smelly and rooms at the front of the hotel facing the main road are noisy at night.

Shower blocked 5 hairs in shower tray, mould around screen - tap seemed wonky, loose mirror. Air con good to have but was very noises even when off. Breakfast was awful- could hardly eat it

The bed was very comfy and the room had a good size shower. Breakfast was overly too. Air conditioning didn’t work and layout of room not very practical - dressing table had the to where the mirror should have been and mirror on a separate wall. One of the hottest weekends and couldn’t stay cool while getting ready. Very disappointed as carpets are thread bare in places and run down. Not what I was expecting for the price.

Room was poor and tiny. Unable to open window as it had no handle. Extractor fan didn't work. Noisy corridor was disturbing. Car parking was extra and expensive as paying guests. No complementary water. We would not reuse this hotel unfortunately.

Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working on an extremely hot night. We were offered to change rooms, but we had settled in by the time the maintenance man came to look at the air conditioning and made this offer. We gathered there was a problem in quite a few rooms. We were lent two fans by the maintenance man, which did help.
