Noa Residence

We booked a very well presented property with plenty of room. However, when we retuned around 8pm we discovered that the heating was not working. We had to call the accommodation provider who told us to move to the next room (which was smaller and not so nice). Weirdly on arrival the Noa Residence guy had come into our room uninvited to "check the heater was working". He then commented “only here for one night” and left. So it very much looks like they knew the heating was not working and, didn’t do anything about it, leaving us in an unheated room until we complained. So that tells you how little they value their guests.

not clean and bathroom supplies not complete, The faucet handles in the kitchen and bathroom are both faulty, and the bathroom drain lacks grating. not clear check in instructions, and not set a room temperature advanced, really cold. When the room temperature is perfect, that is morning……

it was a nice stay, but the garden let it down abit and the unit was a little tired and could have done with a refresh of furniture

Great customer service, there was an issue with the property and they offer to relocate to another better property without additional costs.

The property has everything you need for living for an extended period of time. Going up somewhat narrow stairs is required. There was the sound of some sort of animal clawing in the walls or window. I didn't read the notice that I needed to ask for checkin instructions 72 hours beforehand until the day before departure. I ended up making 5 international calls upon arrival in order to checkin. There are systems that provide this information automatically. Water was dripping inside the refrigerator, and the in-room information did not list who to call to report issues.

Property was fairly priced; within walking to complete services. City-centre bus right outside door. Adequately appointed and quiet! Manager was responsive and helpful!

Good location with easy public transport. Clean and convenient.

The property itself is OK but communication and checking in procedure need a lot of improvement. The Expedia listing says to contact ahead for check in instructions. I did twice through Expedia with no response. Emailed Noa directly with no response. A friend in Oxford called and was told she and I both would be emailed check in instructions. They never arrived. So the day of check in my friend in Oxford went with me. No response. Just a directive on a sign to ring a phone number. As an overseas visitor, how would someone without a mobile be able to ring anyone. It’s only because my friend heard someone behind a door and knocked did we luck into help. The person who answered the door was another guest who rang the owner to get access to a lock box with a key in it. And instructions as to how to check out with no reception. Acceptable accommodation but to me, not worth the stressful check in and terrible communication.

Close to the centre, close to John Radcliffe Hospital, parking, clean, comfy.

Zero communication is the name of this game. There was no response regarding how to check in after several attempts. Expedia has to be contacted. After arrival on the property, housekeeping let us in but had no answers as to information about where to park, what room I was in, check out procedures, etc. the room I was led to was not what I reserved (a one bedroom apartment). I was led to a studio and told all the rooms are like that. The site manager (owner?) was put on the phone and was less than pleasant or accommodating about the reservation. The room was cleanly enough, but just a sour taste was left in my mouth. It was pretty obvious that we were just part of the paycheck.

Room was spacious & comfortable, but had a very strong oudor of stale cigarettes or something like that, which made it quite unpleasant. So, did not sleep very well. Would not use again!

We stayed in a lower ground floor room 8, and you could smell a sewage smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was absolutely tiny and the bed was extremely uncomfortable with no cushioning at all. The tv didn’t work either, so quite disappointed.

Hotels.com were paid in full at the time of booking on 11th September. Noa residence also took an additional payment of £109.25 some ten days later which appears on the credit card as 'Noa residence' – not like it can be confused with any other charges. When questioned by hotels.com they have denied this charge. We phoned them directly but they were unable to offer any explanation – or refund. I also emailed Noa residence and provided proof of the transactions, but they did not reply. A dispute has been opened via the credit card provider in order to try to get the money back. Customer service zero.

Great place to stay for the money. The apartment was well equipped for cooking. The location was good could walk into town or take the bus, the stop was two doors down. Shopping was around the corner and a few blocks away. Altogether a good experience, would definitely stay here next time we're in Oxford. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The ‘studio’ was well equipped but very cramped - nothing like the pictures on the website. Although it was clean there was a stale smell when I arrived. I sent a message in advance about parking but got no response. I then got a text message during the day I was in Oxford asking for my registration number with no explanation.

The apartment was tidy and clean with microwave, fridge, oven and TV. Shower worked great and the location is so handy, especially for the university side of town. Only downside is it is not made clear that you have to check in/out at another B&B which is about 15 minutes walk away.

Ideal for a comfortable, convenient and practical stay. We have written to the manager to advise that the oven was completely non-functioning. Electric hob, microwave and all other facilities were fine.

Very easy and nice stay at Noa apartments. I was text the code for the door so just let myself in without having to bother with any reception faff. The room was very light and spacious and had really good kitchen facilities to make myself at home.
