It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.

Great base to explore the Peak District, Nice clean and well maintained property on a farm with a friendly peacock that comes to the back door each morning for breakfast. The farm owners gave us a warm welcome and some chocolate biscuits on arrival. We will definitely be booking again.

Well situated for Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton and beautiful surrounding countryside. Enjoyed daily visits from Percy the Peacock. Particularly liked layout/flow of interior and kitchen had every conceivable utensil along with basics such as salt, pepper and vinegar, tea, coffee and sugar. The owners had even left us milk and biscuits. Excellent shower. Only downside was the route planner took us to a different Bank End Farm

We were mislead by the listing in Hotels.com which suggests that the property is walkable to Buxton town. In fact it is 12 miles from Buxton without shops or pubs in walking distance. However the property was spacious, clean and well furnished
