From the moment we arrived we were treated like family, it was a very relaxed atmosphere but efficient service. Anything we needed was arranged from taxi numbers to warm milk for our three year old. Great food and drinks too. A good size accommodation with a cosy but fresh feel. All staff were welcoming and happy to help. We will definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff in popular and welcoming village local. We only stayed one night and didn't eat here though the menu looked great. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed. Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

The proprietors were friendly and welcoming and did all to ensure my stay was comfortable. The pub's location is well suited to exploring the town, being a 5-10 min walk from the centre on a quiet street. Although there was nothing wrong with my (single) room, I was disappointed with it relative to the cost. I paid a bit more to stay here (could have booked a cheaper room) but it lacked cosiness and/or home comforts- small TV, bed etc. I had no control over the heating although when I told the proprietors it was cold they did correct this.

Lovely little B&B above a delightful pub. We were very well looked after and given great tips and advice about the area by the owners. Everyone was very welcoming. The room was cozy and clean, nothing fancy but just what we needed for a little night away with friends. Great location, close to the centre of Cirencester. Great value for money.

Having passed through Cirencester a few weeks ago on a Sunday (don't visit on a Sunday as most shops are closed), decided to visit again on a day when the shops were most likely to be open (and there was a craft market on). Sadly, as disorganised as ever, by the time I got round to booking, the only room left sub-the-£250-pound-a-night-Kings_Head, the only room left within the town borders was the Oddfellows ... with a shared bathroom. Whilst the Four Pillars looked bland and corporate for the same price, it would have meant staying outside of town and driving in the next day, so we took the plunge, and we're glad we did. The Oddfellows is a proper pub - it has a proper fire, and proper beer. You can play darts ... and pool, and talk as there isn't music blaring out, and it has dogs - the pub dog (Ted - the friendliest lab on the planet), local dogs (Jonesy - a splendid labradoodle), and if you wanted to bring your own, it's also allowed. Fortunately the shared bathroom was ours for the night, as there was no-one in the other room. The room itself was clean and tidy, if a tad compact, and breakfast was lovely. The windows open, and as the pub is on a residential street, it's quiet, so had a good night's sleep. It's easy walking into the town centre, which is lovely, and well worth a visit. If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here, but if you're looking for friendly staff, a nice room, and a good breakfast, you've hit the jackpot. As Arnie said, 'I'll be back'
