Oddfellows Chester Hotel and Apartments

Booked dinner bed and breakfast which turned out to be a burger for evening meal and European style cold buffet breakfast. Wine glass was dirty at the evening meal. Smoked salmon had disappeared and was not topped up at breakfast and we had to request some more bread. On the flip side the bar is amazing and well worth a visit . Room was ok Bathroom was great apart from a smell of a blocked drain wafting through every once in a while . overall underwhelmed.

Boutique hotel quirky and cute

This was our second stay at the hotel. We love the location and the staff are always very friendly. We didn't try the food this time but had no complaints about the breakfast last time. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness. Our room had a bath in the bedroom. We put a floor mat down to stop any wet foot prints. When we lifted the floor mat up after it was filthy. Also standing in the wet room the same happened. Perhaps a good scrub and mop is required. Our room also had a row of electrical sockets where the fridge and kettle plug in which we couldn't use as the sockets were too close to the work surface and the leads on our appliances were not flexible enough to bend to allow us to plug appliances in. We feel we are disappointed due to having such a great stay last time. The hotel remains good value for money

Lovely hotel - great staff - gorgeously quirky - not really a fan of shower and toilet open in the room - it would have been 5⭐️ but for this.

Great stay, received an upgrade which was very kind. Receptionist very polite and friendly.

The hotel was lovely, however the room was very warm with only 1 small opening window, it did have a fan but it didn't help much and just made the night noisy. We found the service during our evening meal very poor and the breakfast was shocking. The tea had bits floating in it, the buns and chocolate muffins were hard. This hotel cost me a lot but it was not worth the money I paid... I feel very disappointed with our stay because I saved for some time to make this night away special... no one was on the reception when we were leaving to talk to.

Apartment was great, wish we could have stayed longer!

last minute decision with very fair rate for the one night stop right in the middle of the city. Street parking limited but we were lucky enough with no stress. Great simple check in with good attic room. Breakfast a little "odd" with no staff in attendance but good choice of continental style affair will stay again

I stayed in room 4, it was a very large and spacious room, however very cold. The bed was two single beds together, so it was rather large, although you could feel the divide in the middle, it was very comfy. TV was okay, it had basic channels. Mini soap, shampoo, coniditioner, bodywash provided. (No toothbrush) Shower was nice. The bar holding the smaller showerhead was a bit loose from the wall so probably could do with securing down! Overall felt clean (minus suspicious brown mark on the carpet) Bed was comfortable but definitely needed a thicker duvet. Hair dryer had to be used in a hard to reach place - where the ceiling was low Not great if you struggle with mobility as lots of stairs Quirky interior which was interesting Good location, at the higher end of bridge street. Basically right in the centre. Good value for money at 107£ for two nights. Nice and friendly women on the desk at both check in and check out :)

Lovely unique place, modern and very comfortable room. Breakfast could have been better, no attendance by staff and having to ask in the kitchen for milk etc etc..quality if food was fine though

Stayed for 2 nights, the hotel is great, fun and quirky. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a great size. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of action, parking is in the near by Pepper Street car park, the hotel gives you 50% off so not bad at all. Would definitely recommend

Visited for one night for girlfriend’s birthday. Both enjoyed the quirky decor and novel ambience. Breakfast selection very good and plentiful. However shower drain was blocked. Music from downstairs could heard in our room until midnight.

Great apartment but the beds and pillows were rock hard
