Perfect for an overnight stay when visiting the town

Very welcoming staff, they warned us about them having music on till late and offered to move us room but we was happy to stay in room as the music didn’t bother us, would definitely recommend and return

The rooms were dirty and dusty. The shower area in room 1 was not draining. Noise in the pub lasted until early hours of the morning.

Room was great for us attending a birthday celebration localy.The staff were very friendly and helpful .Room was basic but clean and comfortable

Perfectly good for an overnight stay when visiting the area.

It's no Premier Inn, but it's not Premier Inn money. The rooms are clean, the shower works well, the staff are friendly. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

I arrived at the hotel at around 10:00 PM after a five-hour drive, needing a few hours of sleep before an early start for work at 5:30 AM. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Soon after checking in, I discovered that extremely loud music was coming from the floor below. When I approached the reception, I was told that the hotel only has two floors and that the first floor functions as a pub and disco on Friday nights. I requested to change my room to avoid the disturbance, but I was told this was not possible. Despite my efforts to tolerate the noise, it only became louder and made it impossible to sleep. I returned to the reception around 1:00 AM to express my concerns again, but no solution was offered. Feeling helpless and exhausted, I decided to leave the hotel and sleep in my car. This experience left me cold, sleep-deprived, and extremely unwell for work the following day. This level of discomfort and lack of basic hospitality is unacceptable. Guests should be informed at the time of booking that loud music and disturbances are expected on certain nights. Had I known this in advance, I would never have booked the hotel. I respectfully request a full refund for this night’s stay, as the hotel failed to provide the basic service of a peaceful environment for rest.

Not bad. Free parking. Attached shower and toilet with hot water. Heating was good. Need to improve the bed and pillows. Winter price £41 is good price for a double size room.

Booked an overnight stay. Easy 2 arrange, easy 2 book in, easy 2 leave. Can’t ask 4 anything more. Would def recommend n happily stay again.

The hotel was clean as was the room Reasonable on suite with enough towels Bar is large and well stocked but no food available other than bar snacks That extends to no evening catering or breakfast facilities This is a hotel for workers who just need a comfortable stay with no bells or whistles Tea available in room with kettle Very close to my work location which was excellent but would not recommend for a weekend away Overall value for money is good just don’t expect too much Staff very friendly although did not volunteer or mention WiFi which is available

We stayed in room 5 the room suze was good bathroom was nice but the floor was dusty. The bed was comfortable but could have done with 2 pillows. The skirting under the window was very dusty as was the top of the headboard on the bed. There was no mattress protector. The price was good it was comfortable could just have done with a bit more tlc from housekeepers the staff in the bar and on reception were nice and friendly

Loud music playing until 1 in morning , then fighting and shouting outside window until 2 .

I stay here every time I work in the area. Rooms basic, but clean and comfortable. Staff downstairs very friendly. It is above a pub though, so can be noisy.

Family room in need of some tlc and a good clean. Room big and sheets clean.

Disappointed to say the least. No food available, and nothing nearby on a Sunday evening. Room was tired and in need of a refurb. Only one bedside cabinet, no shower mat, generally run down. Unable to add photos !!
