Loved the welcoming home made biscuits in the room

Great location

A proper country pub with a great view, although our room was very tired in need of a refurb. The carpets need renewing as badly stained, very grubby. The staff are very friendly except for the waitress in the bright yellow shirt who was very unwelcoming. We had booked a table for dinner in the restaurant but seated in the dog area, we love dogs but not sat next to me on the seat!! WhenI’m ordering my evening meal. The waitress was very annoyed when I asked for a table in the restaraunt, in fact she was rude to a few customers, the best part of our stay was the view.

Just the most quaint and beautiful setting! Very well kept property and grounds. The pub dining area couldn't be more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful and a young woman named Jess was particularly delightful and helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Just a short drive over to Grassington which is must!

Excellent staff, lovely evening meal and breakfast. Room was spot on with a bath....perfect for walking the dales way. And to top it all, proper hand pumped beer

This is an excellent hotel, in a lovely location. The food is superb. The roast beef was delicious and breakfast was excellent too.

The bar/restaurant was lovely, although the seats were very uncomfortable we didn't stay for an extra drink. The room we stayed in was very dated and needed redecorating. There was signs of damp around the window, wallpaper coming off from the walls and was a little scruffy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food delicious.

Good food and excellent staff, breakfast was especially good with lots of choice.

We've stayed before and once again enjoyed. We stayed in the Hotel this time as opposed to the Manor House, but would probably return to the Manor House next time., I think it is easier with the Dogs. Food and Service excellent as always. Thanks,

Lovely spot, good service and great food.

Very comfortable bed, lovely room, smashing view. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were made of quality ingredients and well cooked. Shame we couldn’t stay longer.

Set in a beautiful location the hotel was cosy and comfortable

Like the old world charm and toiletries and tea tray, etc. But would have preferred some more simple choices on the Dinner menu.

Thisbplace is fabulous. Gorgeous quiet village, food, accommodation were excellent. Staff very friendly, we can wait to come back.

Very friendly staff excellent food

Cosy country pub with attentive and welcoming staff in a stunning location. Wide range of drinks in the bar, decent selection of evening meals and your typical breakfast menu. Rooms are clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Its a quiet village so even though its on the main road there was no noise disturbance. Rooms are a little tired and there were no obvious recycling. You have to ask for an itemised bill if you want one at check out. Its the staff that make this place, and the location next to a river and fields with an old building that could tell a tale or two all help ! Id highly recommend it, especially if you’re not a fan of those standardised chain hotels where you could be anywhere in the world. This place is the complete opposite

Easy access to walking trails

Our Manor House room was impeccable. Lovely design with whimsical touches. Wish we could have lingered longer! Tasty dinners in the pub. Pastoral surroundings…. Hope we can make it back!
