Probably the best bunk bed room I’ve had so far. Nice and clean location, helpful receptionist, very spacious room, comfortable bed, and the most important thing is the female room has its own bathroom. I also got the chance to stay at another Safestay and the experience is no less greater. Will definitely try to find Safestay in any country I am planning to visit

Stayed here as we had a friends party not far. We had the double room with en suite and honestly no complaints at all. It was super clean, staff were helpful and brilliant location. Unreal value for money, would 100% stay again!

Room was clean and spacious On day 1, staff in reception is nice. On our second night,shower room used once unfortunately drainage was blocked and water came out the room and hallway, one staff was informed about it but very slow response .The staff whose been told about the flood finished his duty and didn't handover to the next staff.It was reported at 23:05, another staff came and seems unhappy about what happened and said he will be back in 20 minutes to bring more towels.Then he came back and put towels by the door of the toilet and more by the hallway. He said he already reported it to the manager ,but can't do anything about it,as maintenance will be sorting it out the following day. The following day our check out,no one came up there are towels still on the floor but good water is gone Breakfast, not much choices,should be more options , but its ok The location is near bus stop and walkable Many stores nearby

It was a good place to sleep kinda of. I got there at 10 and lights were off and people were pissed that I came in. I made noise cause I just had put my stuff away and change. Apparently wrong move? Idk. I didn’t love the vibe. They should have curtains to help with the light? Idk. Not the best vibe. I wouldn’t come back.

This hostel is similar to a budget chain hotel, with the usual compromises (shared rooms/facilities) to be expected for the low price. The area is relatively far from central London but fairly well served by public transport. Architecturally, it is a mix of grandeur and squalor. Check-in was efficient and civil, but the employee acted as if he were doing me a favour by accepting a Citizencard as ID when their website says national identity cards are accepted. Also, he didn't say anything to indicate the end of the check-in process - I had to ask. My bed was mistakenly re-allocated on the second night but I was promptly given an alternative room. Breakfast is rather expensive and some of the restrictions seem petty, e.g. reception refusing to mind luggage even briefly. One of the toilets had run out of paper.

I opted for this place again because it was a cheaper option, but my experience this time was not very comfortable. Some of the issues I faced included water spilling outside the bathroom door, non-AC rooms that felt quite humid, and a bit of noise at night—which can be bothersome if you’re sensitive while sleeping. The public bathrooms also have motion-sensor lights, so you end up waving or moving constantly to keep them on. This was my second stay here; my first was about three years ago, when everything felt newer and more hygienic. Unfortunately, things seem to have declined since then, and for me, it’s not worth it anymore.

Lifts broken and no plans to fix. No air con or fan, no toiletries, charged £6 for a bath towel,most of the comunal area closed off in the evening so not enough room for everyone to sit down, charge you to store your luggage too even though the guy on the phone said it was free for guests. I get its a budget hostel, but i came here 10 years ago and it was pleasant, this time it felt like a refugee camp
