This is budget prices so I expected a budget room simples !
I turned up and was greeted by a cheerful manager who explained every to me.
The management are currently working on improvements to the hotel and i think come spring its gonna be spot on.
Cosy and warm throughout the whole hotel.
Yes, the room could do with a bit of tlc but everything worked, great wi fi, and clean. Bed was comfortable too.
I would stay here again when I return to Weston-super-Mare.

I arrived after booking a room for 3 adults - a double and a single beds. Staff helpful but stated we could have choice of a newly renovated room or one we had booked. I asked to see both rooms first as outside of hotel looked terribly run down. He then proceeded to tell us rooms were actually down the road, visited rooms and renovated room only had a pull out sofa that looked extremely small for an adult so accepted other room. Parking was limited in a run down alley, room had limited Seaview from side window, curtains didn’t fit to cover window, noisy in and out of building all night. Lift dangerous with no sensor to stop it closing on us as trying to get in with bags. Door lock seemed quite loose. People loitering, noisy and urinating in the alley outside window throughout night. Did not feel safe or comfortable during night. Room was cheap and nasty and Do Not Recommend for families or solo travellers unless huge improvements!

Booked for my daughter and her Dad to stay. Upon arrival they were sent to a different building. The whole stay didnt feel safe. No staff. Police were called numerous times to the building because of an angry man trying to access all the rooms. Still no staff attended whilst this happened. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

Booked a room at The Savoy but was marched five doors down to a slum formerly called The Birchfield (name now covered up with sticky tape).
TV hanging off the wall, curtains falling away, disgusting bathroom.
One to avoid.

Room was clean but missing a curtain, we had to fashion something with the other 2. No teaspooon to stir drinks with. Noise from room above early in morning and a drunk hammering on front door early hours of Sat morning, so sleep was limited. Staff friendly and obliging.

Hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. Staff not always available as you’re around. Shower holder needed tightening. Temperature controller fell off in my partner’s hand. Mould on the toilet blinds. Bathroom window had no privacy effect on it. Whole place run down. £6 per person for breakfast, however it was shocking. Had to pay £50 pending deposit incase we made any damage but was not made aware of this before coming. Avoid hotel, will not be staying here again.

When we got there the room was not as we expected there was stains on the wall rips in the wallpaper the shower was broken the door was very hard to shut. When we went to go out there was a stair rail that had broken I had told manger and he said he would fix it. When we come back the raining had just been tucked behind the wall paper that was hanging off the wall.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel at very last minute. For the money we paid for the night it was okay £46. Nothing fancy but adequate for our needs. Bed was made and clean. We were on the top floor with a sea view, which was very warm. No air con. If you want fancy this hotel is not for you. If you want a place to put your head down cheaply then it's fine. There are no airs and graces.

The room was very clean, comfortable bed. All my basic needs for a one stop, just driving by.
Staff were very friendly felt safe as single woman traveler. They could not do enough with any requests.
I wished the TV was bigger and a working Arial signal was in the room. But I was not in the room much so it never really mattered.
There was parking, luckily just outside the door.
Would stay again if I visited.

Was transferred to the birchfield hotel was charged for early check-in room was basic also was woken up by smoke alarm staff dont know what they are doing no toiletries in the bathroom only handsoap not replenishing toilet rolls or tea and coffee room was not very clean no lock on the toilet door and shower was blocked. Television kept going off because lack of wifi. Walls and cupboards are dirty. Member of staff woke us up because he couldn't get into next door bedroom to clean because he had the wrong key so he had to come through our bedroom and onto the balcony to access next door. Overall it has been the worse hotel we have stayed in.
