Room was nice. Breakfast very good.

Have stayed at sedgeford hall in the past , always a pleasurable experience, comfortable facilities, friendly and healthy staff, excellent food, lovely pool and sauna , nothing but praise for this establishment.

Fabulous location with excellent facilities. The 2-hr session in the spa was the highlight. The room (deluxe) was large and made the experience even better. Fully recommend a stay at this hotel

You pull into the drive and go wow, the building and grounds were great. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had one issue when it came to dining in the first evening we wanted something off the bar menu and was told we had to eat in the bar even though the restaurant wasnt overly busy. It didn't make for a pleasure experience trying to eat with other drinking around us. The service was slow and what made it more annoying overhearing the bar staff talking about how its important to give a quality of service as those staying were paying so much money and then forgetting us. We did plan to eat there on our second evening but was so disappointed we eat at Deben Seal 5 minutes down the road which was exceptional, fantastic staff and quality food. As for the room it was clean and tidy, bathroom needs a little attention especially around the silicone on the bath. Plugs are a little problem to as my wife struggled getting ready whilst sat at the dressing table. Staff at breakfast were so helpful and it was great breakfast. Overall great location full of character just let down by the dining experience and made to feel forgotten because we eat at the bar and not restaurant.

Lovely hotel - room was modern in an old country hall - breakfast was lovely quality although smashed avocado could have done with some fresh lime juice and Coriander - it felt like chunky avocado paste spread on toasted sourdough. Otherwise a lovely stay and pool was nice temperature. Would recommend. We went to the Unruly Pig to eat which is one of UK’s top Gastropods - about an 90min beautiful walk through Woodbridge and along estuary seawall from hotel - tasting menu amazing - then got a taxi back.

We wanted a swim when we arrived but were told we would have to book. We didn’t know this and found it strange. The receptionist said we would have been told. We only wanted a swim. Breakfast was lovely and very relaxing. The bed was uncomfortable and we couldn’t open the windows as the noise was too much.

Breakfast very good. Room was dsappointing as rather small. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time. The room and facilities were very nice. The spa is very nice and the treatments were excellent, The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was extremely good.

Unfortunately was overcharged and it took four days of phone calls to get refund even though hotel admitted fault. Bills sent by email, which I didn’t receive until after leaving. Would advise asking for printouts before leaving.

Beautiful property and great staff! However, the WiFi was terrible and no hot water the last 14 hours of stay. No discount or refund offered.

We visited Seckford Hall for Dinner every other month 20 years ago. Although we did not have Dinner on this occasion memories were rekindled

The hotel was a lovely place to stay and so easy to get to as it is very close to the A12 but feels miles from anywhere. The room we had was very comfortable and clean, a huge bed and walk-in shower. It was very hot whilst we were there and a fan was provided but could have benefited from having a fridge. The food was very well presented but some dishes were strange, e.g. scallops with an apple sorbet which really didn't go well together.

Historic hotel with some modern attributes. The room (6) was spacious with a good king size bed, but was directly over the kitchens and, with the windows open during summer, there was a fair amount of noise. Since it was a weekend, there were weddings on so the catering staff were working late. The following morning after breakfast we did find the toilets downstairs had been left in a pretty filthy state by the wedding guests, so the cleaners had not yet started their work. The staff were all really helpful and considerate. The food was well prepared and tasty. It was nice to wander around the lake in the grounds but we did find a smell of drains on the golf course side. It appeared this may be coming from the mobile buildings in the back car park. We asked about plugging our car in to the sockets near the front door for an overnight charge but we were told they couldn’t handle an electric car load. This is unlikely to be a problem. They did say there were plans to install car chargers.

A truly beautiful venue, in a glorious setting. My ground floor room was spacious and aesthetically pleasing apart from the shower which didn’t drain and lack of hot water even at no peak times. The reception team and restaurant staff were very customer focused and professional. Unfortunately the spa team (apart from Kieran) could do with an attitude adjustment. It’s clear there is tension amongst themselves which shouldn’t be obvious to clients.
