Beautifully prepared and presented room. Very quiet. An amazing breakfast.

Really nice and frendley

Very clean room, with a lovely deep bath and fresh milk provided for drinks. Delicious cooked breakfast included served by a friendly professional team. Great village location; we would be very happy to stay here again.

Many thanks to Sophie for helping us sort out a mix up in the reservation. You really could not wish to meet a nicer host very friendly and welcoming We were up to early for breakfast but Sophie made a great travelling breakfast ready for the bike ride. Many thanks Sophie.

Great taster stay! Sophie was very hospitiable, excellent choice of food, Breakfast was brilliant, and the room and bathroom very clean. There was nothing not to like, would recommend, and for us to stay again !0/10 :)

Most genial of hosts, breakfasts excellent and filling, downstairs bathroom a little quirky, but fine, outstanding view from the bedroom. Well worth a return visit if we get to North Yorkshire again.

We loved the area and the hospitality shown to us If I wanted to have a moan it would be the two velux s in the room both have a terrible draught at the top And if it was me I would put a small drinks fridge in the room for milk and water and maybe a kettle which is not connected to the plug save carrying the whole thing down for water Very minor things but would definitely improve the room We loved our stay immensely

The hosts were lovely and the cafe was amazing. However the room itself was lacking. One of the duvet covers had stains. Fresh milk was provided but left open to the air with no fridge. There were spiders and spider nests in the bathroom. The beds wernt particularly comfy. A lot of noise during the night. The breakfast was fantastic. Not sure about seeing the cat walking around the cafe area in the evening. Would visit the cafe again but not stay overnight.

Beautiful room with large balconette style velux windows overlooking the countryside. The breakfast was amazing and Sophie was warm and welcoming, I have absolutely no complaints and would love to return in the future.

What a lovely host and amazing room. The view from the velux windows over the surrounding countryside was amazing. Sophie is a fantastic host and could not have done any more to make our stay memorable

Great place - Sophie went out of her way to accommodate us when there was a glitch in our reservation. We ended up staying 2 nights, and it was lovely. The breakfast was outstanding, and our room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The view out our window was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. Sophie was wonderful, so kind and helpful. We will recommend to anyone visiting Yorkshire.

We had the warmest of welcomes and we were shown to our room by a lovely young man, who ensured we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, check in and out easy. The breakfasts were delicious

Sophie and family are wonderful and we would stay again. Sadly on our last night there the guests in the next room started playing music loudly at 1am in morning and despite my best efforts I could not get them to hear me over the music so I could ask them to turn it down. Although absolutely not Sophie's fault it take the shine off the stay... it was why I marked the comfort down

Lovely area, quiet peaceful and super friendly pub close by. Great veggie breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer host than Sophie.

A delightful room in the eves of the property so up two flights of stairs with the private bathroom at the top of the first flight. The room was welcoming being full of natural light from the two huge windows in the roof and the bed was very comfortable. We left before breakfast was served at 9am but Sophie made us a delicious pack up to take with us. The local pub was a couple of minutes walk up the road, was very friendly and served good evening meals. All in all, a most enjoyable stay.
