Something shattered a window in our room first day of our stay. While people came to look at it nothing was done to fix it nor was any recompense offered for having a broken window with wind rushing through it for three days. Unprofessional. Staff was lackadaisical for such a small restaurant. Food was excellent. The music in the dining room was superb.

The room was lovely but because of the ceiling height the radiators was not strong enough to heat the bedroom I thing the single glazed windows did not help with the draft coming in through the windows and having the bed so close to the window did not help the radiator was on full and working but to small secondary glazing would not go amiss it this listed property

The hotel welcome here was outstanding. I stupidly arrived having booked the wrong date and the reception staff couldn’t do enough to help me sort it out. We had the best weekend away (without our kids). Perfect hotel for us - lots of character, attentive service, with luxury feel. Even with the bad weather we enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely property about a 30 minute walk to the center of Bath. Dining room was closed for dinner during our stay but we ate lunch in the Pantry which was excellent, and the breakfasts were delicious too. Nice walk to the city center where there is lots to do and many fine and casual restaurants.

Rooms were really dated, no air conditioning, floors were really creaky everytime you walked. Didn't have enough robes - I had to walk to the pool wearing a kids robe!! Didn't refill any toiletries, which meant I was wearing a soggy shower cap.

Beautiful hotel and gardens. Lovely, well-appointed room. The service was however slow - we had to call 3 time to have drinks delivered to our room. And the breakfast service was slow and the breakfast front of house manager/waitress was off-hand. We waited 30 minutes for a cup of coffee.

The staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. The food we had was delicious and well-prepared, but the menu options were a bit limited, especially if you’re staying more than a couple of nights or have dietary restrictions. That said, the quality was excellent, and the presentation was top-notch. The location worked very well for us. It’s just slightly outside the hustle of central Bath, which made it feel more like a relaxing retreat, while still being convenient to get into town. Overall, we would definitely recommend The Bath Priory for anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful stay with first-class service. A few more dining options would make it perfect.
