The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt even though I arrived in the middle of a heatwave. Breakfast is served in the bar area. Breakfast is paid for separately on a menu basis. There is a good choice of items available. I ate at the bar on the four evenings I was there. Again there was a choice of items available and portions were more than adequate. The atmosphere is very much that of the local village pub. Highly recommended. I chose the place purely on location, as I wanted to visit different locations in the county. If I visit the area again I would certainly consider staying here!

Lovely clean room. Well stocked tea and coffee tray. Lovely bottles of fresh water. Great facilities. One negative comment I found was that the lighting was a bit dark (I like to sew and struggled to see even right next to the lamp. All staff really friendly and helpful- especially Kelly!

Comfortable clean room. Lovely dinner at a reasonable cost, but had to wait a long time for order to be taken and food served. As we were in no hurry, it didn't matter but, had I been starving it would have been annoying.

Unfortunately, there were flies in the Bedroom & Restaurant, and you had to continually battle to keep the flies off the food & drinks.
Raised it with a member of staff who said there was nothing they could do, it was just the season.
Suggest management need to take the problem seriously, and find the source.

Lovely country pub with accommodation. Room was very comfortable and clean with good quality linen. Dinner was well priced with large servings. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was tasty with good quality ingredients. Only criticism is that there were no breakfast options for children. Perhaps some cereal on offer would go along way for kids or even just a simple boiled egg with soldiers.
