The Birdham Hotel & Restaurant

We were really pleasantly surprised with our stay. The Hotel was really clean, well laid out, the room was so spacious with a fantastic sized bathroom and coffee facilities. Anthony and Emily were fantastic, very polite and fun to be around. Everything about our short stay was fantastic and I would definitely come back and recommend :)

The room was clean, nice large family room. Bed was comfy. Bit of a rabbit warren to get to room but didn't mind. Food in restaurant was nice on the night. Drinks tasted good. Down side no ev charger so hopefully they get one fitted. But not a big deal. All in all would stay again

Excellent overnight stay in the bunk bed family room, was brilliant! Spotlessly clean, beautiful room. Children were happy. Staff were lovely and so helpful and kind. We would definitely return. Thank you

Loved our stay here, sad it was only for one night. The staff that checked us in was very friendly and very welcoming. Next day for breakfast the staff, I didn’t catch her name, very lovely too. My little daughters being divas loved the style of the hotel and the big chandelier 😍 will defo return :)

Overall very good. Another one or two vegetarian options and perhaps more frequent menu changes would have meant we would have eaten at the hotel more often. Otherwise very pleasant stay. Bembridge is very nice with several places to eat for variety

We didn't like the position of the TV, being so high when viewed from a sitting position.

We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break.

Ok would have been very good except the mattress was rock hard

The hotel was comfort and good size for family, but it was new paint, my wife not feeling too well, staffs are very friendly and helpful, bar and breakfast was very good, had a nice local beer, good and quiet location for family break, well recommended

I stayed at the Birdham in late January 2025. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was particularly good - excellent menu, good cooked options, and delicious. I used the restaurant and bar on one evening, which again was excellent - good choices, delicious food, and a good atmosphere, it was used both by locals, and for business meetings. I would recommend the Birdham to anyone looking to stay in Bembridge or the Isle of Wight.

Thanks to Anthony and the whole team for looking after us in our recent stay. Great base for exploring the island with good food and a roaring fire to come back to.

The hotel was a good location for us as a base. 2 minutes drive down to the beach and lifeboat station or about 15/20 minutes walk. Nice to walk along the beach path in the evening. Local convenience store on the way. Evening meal was lovely and the breakfast choice and quality was superb. Nice bar and restaurant area with lovely ambiance in the evening. Stayed midweek and was very peaceful at night. Friendly welcome and all staff were lovely and gave good service. Car park is big enough even though it gets busy with restaurant bookings. Had a slightly smaller room which could do without the wardrobes being in it to give more space and room for a couple of easy chairs but the bathroom was generous. Nice touch with the travel toiletries.

The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Brian who was outstanding.

If you come to the isle of wight for what ever reason this is your place, the staff are beyond friendly and the breakfast is world class, the room is clean and homely, it is the perfect home away from home

Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Certain areas of property are tired but room was comfortable and well appointed

A two day trip visiting friends. loved our stay here. Very friendly welcome and very impressed with the superior room we booked. Very clean and bright and generally in good condition. Breakfast cooked to order and was excellent and very friendly staff throughout. We ate in the bar one evening and once again the food was well priced and excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again. Good location also for the local village and a walk to the beach.
