Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Great food and reasonably priced. Would definitely book again.

Room needs updating, carpet not clean & hair dryer which was hard wired into the wall was broken, friends in two other rooms had the same problem, when asked if I could be provided with one they couldn’t Restaurant was popular but you need to book if you want a table

Easy check in. Friendly professional staff at check in and the restaurant. Easy parking and great food - what more could you want.

Our dinner at the hotel was wonderful! Great food & staff were lovely.

The service in the pub was great and very friendly.

Bed was too soft for me ( not comfortable). Room is very basic.

Above a busy pub but surprisingly quiet up in the room.

From arrival it was wrong. They told us we had only booked 1 room and not 2. This seemed to be because they had no clean rooms. We then had to wait while they placed the bar stock order. Eventually we got seen. We were taken around the rooms looking for clean ones. We ended up in a family room which had 2 rooms. This was very tired but we attempted to make do. Went for dinner, not good unfortunately. After returning to the room we started noticing more dirt, orange very stained spare pillow chucked in the wardrobe with 2 heaters and a iron. 2 ironing boards for some reason. Water stained walls. Pulled back the quilt cover and not convinced it hadn't been slept in. The mattress was just springs that bottomed out on the base. TV didn't work in the single room. Car parking limited. At this point we left and booked in somewhere else. Avoid, the advertising pictures don't seem to be the same. First time in twenty years of working away that I have had to walk out. Sad times.

Very good value for money. Staff were very nice. Checked in early. We walked down to the tram in Ashton and took the tram to the City game (25 mins). Made it very easy. Room condition was good and spacious.

Staff were excellent. Room was nice but not very clean. Cobwebs in bathroom and no mattress protector or fitted sheet on bed. Ate in restaurant and food and service was very good.

The overnight stay was excellent the food very good. The service and attention from the staff was really excellent they were all really sweet and thoughtful I will certainly stay here again.

Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding. The room was ok but the shower was dirty and showerhead and extractor were filthy. We got told if we came back after 10pm the pub door would be locked and we'd have to use the fire escape to get in which i found bizzare. We did get back at 10.20 and the door was locked so we had to use fire escape to get to our room, luckily we wasnt that drunk. My partner had to go down to the bar about 11.30pm bexause they were playing music really loud so he went to ask them to turn it down which they did. We would definitely not stay here again.

Nice clean, well kept modern room. Staff friendly.

The hotel was a good night stay. The food in the bar/ restaurant was great. The only thing was it didn’t do breakfast, they is a really nice cafe across the road that make a great breakfast. Rooms were well spacious and had been nicely decorated I would recommend this hotel.

This was by far a better option than travel lodge, Premier Inn etc. Freindly clean and traditional. Would definitely recommend!

After reading last review I wondered what we would walk into Arrived went to pub bar , girl showed us to the room explaining that if we left early we would have to us fire escape & there was a band on that evening Saturday would it bother us . Room liveable clean yes could do with deep clean Room large ,fresh towels, warm water & bath Music finished at midnight did not have any complaints good music Fire escape was easy to leave by Free car park It suited us for one night but would not spend more than two evenings there
