A lovely room to the rear and separate to the Inn. Room 4 - such a comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Car parking space in front of the room. Cooked breakfast of your choice. Friendly family running the Inn. Went to the area for a music festival, only went 1 day. If we attend next year we will stay at the Bull Inn again

This was a realy nice venue to stay at. The single room was fine for me and comfortable, the rooms are to the rear of the Inn in an annex. All the food was nice and well presented. The staff very very pleasnant and helpful. The village is very quiet so for that quiet getaway you would be wise to think of here

Lovely rooms outside of the main pub in an outbuilding which were great as quiet and. Few steps away from the pub. The room was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay. Really comfortable king size bed and lovely walk in shower. Tea/coffee making facilities with. Complimentary bottle of water and biscuits Wifi wasn’t working in the room when we were there but it did work in the pub so not. Big deal. The TV in the room was really small and coild do with better blackout curtains but breakfast was lovely with a choice of Full English or other dishes such as scrambled egg on toast etc. I would definitely stay again if in the area

We stopped for one night en route to a family wedding and so glad we chose the Bull at Rippingham. Lovely family run pub with rooms. The family only recently took over the pub and are doing a fabulous job. Super comfy bed (new mattress) and very clean room with en-suite. Great atmosphere in the pub and the new chef has a great menu of excellent food, all locally sourced, generous portions and great value for money. Breakfast was amazing too. All in all 5 star!

We were the first overnight guests for the new owners and forced them to accelerate their plans for taking guests! They were lovely and could not have given us a warmer welcome. They have great plans for the Bull Inn and we would love to go back in future to see the results. We wish them every success with their new venture.

I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside. My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!! Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items. Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases etc out of your car. Leo the owner is absolutely lovely and really cares about his guests, and gives you the most amazing welcome. A really lovely gentleman. I stayed mid week and there was a pop up kitchen of Mexican food (different pop ups each week) which was gorgeous and I was able to sit on the small patio outside my room in the sunshine.. just so lovely. I would definitely come back to stay at The Bulls Inn if I were in the area again as I felt so comfortable and safe there.

Looking for a good place to stay for our annual meet up with friends, we needed somewhere which was halfway between our homes in Essex and Lancashire and we came across the Bull Inn. So glad that we did. Having read the lovely reviews left by others (note: please ignore the earlier negative ones as they should be attributed to a previous ownership) we had no hesitation in making our booking. There are five guest rooms all of which are in an adjacent converted building. Whilst not over large in size they do have all the facilities and comforts that you require - comfy bed, shower, tv and tea/coffee tray in the room. Most importantly, they are spotlessly clean. Breakfast which is included is served in the pub itself (a cracking full English) whilst evening meals are also available, if required. We dined in on two evenings and found the menu wide-ranging whilst the meals which we had were very generous and excellent. The bar had a good range of drinks ( for example, three real ales on hand pump) and prices - including for wine - were very reasonable. All in all a lovely find in a beautiful setting but the jewel in the crown must be the management team of Leo (front of house) and Deana (working wonders in the kitchen) who despite obvious calls on their time always made took to time out to have a chat and make us feel so welcome. It may sound obvious but it's a skill that not everyone landlord/landlady gets right yet it is so, so important. Would we stay again? Most definitely!

For a short weekend stay, the Bull Inn was perfect for my wife and I. The management are extremely friendly and working hard to make the Inn a popular venue for locals and travellers. The food was excellent and a good choice as were the wines Breakfast was more than sufficient and well presented. The water was hot and the towels sufficiently large and soft. There is plenty of parking space.and it was quiet. The only downside was that the room was not made up when we were out or the used cups washed. This isn't a big deal on a short stay but if we were staying longer, would have been an irritant.
