Third time using the Cavendish. Great location for walking the West end . Right next to Piccadilly tube. Reasonable rates . Only downer is the bar area has zero atmosphere- they really need to improve the layout - it’s depressing

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff were excellent, especially the concierge who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was brilliant, just what was needed before cheering on the marathon runners. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Location very good but this so called iconic hotel was a total disappointment false advertising its a very run down hotel charging iconic hotel prices and not delivering the product they advertised.
I spoke to a manager who really wasn't interested but offered me a complementary breakfast which I declined.
This spoilt what was supposed to be a romantic vacation for my wife

Beautiful hotel with brilliant staff. Could have done with more milks, coffee and tea bags. Sadly, the room beside us was very noisy. Also everytime soneone used their bathrooms the sound of the fans was very loud. A stunning hotel but not entirely soundproof. However, would stay again.

We have stayed at the Cavendish for the last three years before the London Landmarks Half Marathon as it really is the perfect location for the event & a really lovely treat to stay there the night before. Hoping we’ll be back again next year!

As a first time visitor to London I found the location of this hotel to be perfect. The Picadilly underground line took us directly from Heathrow to 3 blocks from this hotel. It’s a 15 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. About a 25 minute walk to Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, and the Thames. I was able to go for a jog in Hyde Park, it’s only a mile away. Close to all the first time must see sights. I would have given 5 stars but our toilet was a little wonky.

Ahmed (bellman) went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. From the time we checked in, to our departure, he helped us with our bags, chargers, amenities for our room, and directing our transportation service around construction to get to the hotel. First class and friendly.
Negatives during our stay: We had 3 in our room, and had to request a 3rd tea cup every day. Small item, but no attention to detail. Nothing could be done by the hotel, but nearby construction noise was ongoing throughout the night.
Location is excellent, walkable to everything.

The is a lovely hotel and is very convenient to many attractions but the dinning experience lets this hotel down.
The staff I couldn’t fault but the restaurant seriously needs to be overhauled.
