We had a lovely stay! It was really quiet, even on Saturday night, and the softest bed so we had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was great, and it was nice to have fresh milk in the room. Staff were really friendly, too! I’d definitely recommend. Only downside was low ceilings, so people over 6ft might struggle in the room / bathroom!

We have stayed here for the 3rd time. It is a very relaxed place & a great stopover on our way to the Plymouth ferry to Spain. The bedroom was very spacious with a great en suite featuring a walk in shower. Our dinner in the restaurant was very good with generous portions. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a great choice. The staff were very friendly . We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit

My one night stay at this hotel was ten out of ten . What it lacked from outside appearance was saved from smiling welcoming staff friendly locals. Great food both evening meal and breakfast. Sunday roast was HUGE. Everywhere was spotless . As a solo traveller felt very rekaxed. Well done to the Frocester.

What a gem of a place this is ! It's location may be a little remote, but it's actually very handy for accessing many places, being 10 mins from the M5. Gloucester, Bristol, Bath, Chepstow, Wye Valley, to name a few. Very spacious, superbly decorated and furnished rooms. Tea, Coffee, Water & Bickies ! Modern and spacious bathrooms with toiletries. The food offering in the restaurant is excellent in terms of choice and quality. We would normally struggle to eat for three nights in one place, but not here! The quality and quantity of the food make the prices look very reasonable. Decent bar offering too, with a number of real ales. All the staff we interacted with could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. What a lovely, relaxing place to spend a few days. We'll return as soon as we can.

The Frocester was adequate for an overnight stay we booked en route to Cornwall. The staff were really pleasant and the food was ok as we ate in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had a room which faced the road, and not knowing this area, it clearly was a very busy road from very very early in the morning. The traffic never stopped and as the old single glazed windows were in poor condition, they let in as much cold as they did noise. Sadly, from about 4 in the morning, we hardly slept.
