The room was ok for an overnight stay but any longer and it needs comfy seats, not just a bed, to sit on. The curtain had been pulled off the rail on one side, so did not close easily, but the bathroom was roomy and very clean! The staff are delightful - very professional and helpful... They clearly like dogs at The Godolphin and accommodate them with flair! We sometimes feel dogs are just tolerated, though not here.....!! The food was just ok.... (dare I say even disappointing) the single boule of ice-cream @ £3 was tiny and under-delivered - why not charge £5 and give 2 decent sized boules? Prudence was a "stand out" member of staff and a credit to you!

Arrival was very good, receptionist helpful and knowledgeable when asked for location of places in Marazion. A double room implies it's for two people but there was only one chair in the room (Lamorna) there was only one mug in the bathroom. We returned late on our last evening to find the bed had not been made, neither the bedroom nor the bathroom had been cleaned or tidied. The restaurant menu seemed over keen on food with chilli or curry flavourings and waiters and waitresses, although pleasant were dressed in jeans and t-shirts, which was off-putting and not welcomimg.

Beautiful location , and hotel is stunning overlooking the sea . Sadly our room had previously been used by a smoker and it smelt awful , outside the window were used cigarette ends , shame this was not noticed by the cleaning team but we did report it !! The breakfast on the first morning ( full English ) was overcooked the bacon was so crispy it snapped , and the meal was dry and cold ? We asked for a second coffee but it never materialised so we left . Did not go for a cooked breakfast on the 2nd day and noticed the other guests ,had left a lot of their food . The food totally let the place down and its expensive , change of cooking oil is a must , and recommend the chefs have a re train . The receptionist s were very helpful and informative.

Craft House is a true gem! The attention to detail is outstanding!... from the fabulous quirky decor to the thoughtful amenities. Suzy and Ian, our hoteliers were exceptional, making my friends and myself feel right at home. Everything about our stay was perfect! From the moment I stepped into my room, I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort (they even had a fan which was an extra bonus!) and my bed was incredibly comfortable - best night's sleep! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of options. And another added bonus was Twigs their house greeter (LOVE HER!).  I highly recommend Craft house to anyone visiting Plymouth. Staying here was a highlight of my vacation in England. Thank you, Ian & Suzy!

Our weekend away was fantastic. We went to St Michael's Mount walking the causeway to the island, that was amazing. The island its self was beautiful, you need some good walking shoes to go the castle but when you were up there it was like being on top of the world. From the balcony you could look down on the gardens which looked a lot different than when you were walking them. There were alot of people there but didnt make any difference to the peacefulness that you felt. The Godolphin was a lovely hotel nothing was to much trouble for the staff they helped in every way. Most of our meals were by the window looking out to St Michael's Mount which was amazing , watching the tide going in and out. The Hotel was very clean and tidy . The standard was very high but a relaxed feel which was great. The staff always had smiles on their faces and were very polite. We had a great weekend sitting on the balconies in the sun had a brilliant time.
