The Grange at Oborne

Just a really relaxing place. I want to go back with my wife for a relaxing weekend

We had a lovely overnight stay and a delicious breakfast.

The Grange was an ideal for Sherborne and we enjoyed a quiet peaceful long weekend

Quiet, character, clean, lovely room, bed, shower room all necessary facilities

Quiet location away from everthing which is what we wanted we had a superior double which was large and well equiped nice balcony over looking gardens We had breakfast 2 mornings and this was plentiful and lovely we also eat in the restaurant three nights same menu but great food small bar and we had drinks in the lounge all in all a wonderful stay and we would certainly stay again

Lovely staff and hotel, felt boutique and vibe was chilled, lovely comfy bed, great sized room, staff so lovely. Just a great little hotel. Breakfast was super too

Fab family run hotel with traditional values. Located in a rural area with stunning views. Great staff, one of the nicest hotel rooms we have stayed in. Cosy bar area with a great atmosphere throughout. We will visit again.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting quiet close to a lot of historical landmarks. The food in the hotel was superb as well and Sherbourne town centre was a 10 minute drive away with a lovely Abbey and lots of nice pubs and restaurant. Plume of feathers was great, an Italian tapas,, this was opposite the Abbey

I normally don't bother with reviews but our party of 4 were so blown away by the Grange that I felt compelled to contribute something. What was expected to be a ho-hum overnight stay at a modest 3 star hotel turned out to be something way, way better. The overall setting was perfect - a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere, The accommodation was outstanding: spacious, clean, individual and beautifully appointed. Everyone we met, and I mean everyone, was so helpful, warm and friendly, that it was a joy just to be there. But the really unexpected bonus was the food. An outstanding and beautifully appointed restaurant with an imaginative dinner menu and probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Just the most perfect place.
