Great staff who are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. The breakfasts had a good variety catering for all tastes, the evening meals were tasty, my husband described the pie as "out of this world". The bedroom room was a good size and the bathroom was well appointed. The only downside was the shower lost pressure a couple of times, however the staff arranged to get it fixed.

A lovely place to stay within a beautiful village - a great base for walkers.
Only disappointment was breakfast advertised as 7.30-9.30 on hotels.com so we booked an extra night knowing I could get breakfast before heading off to work. The hotel didn’t actually serve breakfast until 8am so paid for breakfast but couldn’t have anything.

The staff in all areas from Reception , bar. restaurant and room staff were all fabulous. It is one of the best coaching inns we have stayed in. Location was central for many of the tourist attractions. Would recommend and will be returning.
