This weekend, six of us had an event to attend and tried this B&B for the first time. We always have bad luck in Blackpool with B&Bs, but from the moment we arrived, we just knew it was going to be a pleasant stay. We were welcomed in and walked into our room, and when I say how spacious it was and how white and clean the bedding was, I mean it—you will not be disappointed! The bathroom was on par, and breakfast was incredible with very friendly staff! All in all, this has got to be the best B&B in Blackpool! It's walkable to Winter Gardens and Blackpool Tower. I don't usually review, but this was a must. Credit where credit is due! A massive thank you to all the staff who made our stay incredible! We will be back and are definitely recommending you to everyone!

The staff were very friendly helped alot, in one of the rooms the light fitting came off the wall and they moved us into a different room straight away. Breakfast was amazing , sat us at a table and brought over the hot drinks with the cups ect and we went over to a counter to get our food and cold drinks. They had a small shop and looked up times the sea went out for us so we knew when we with little ones could go walk and play on the beach. Bed room do need a big redo but part from that it is really nice, reception is big and space to put a wheelchair and place to charge it too if it's too big to go in the lift.

It is a decent hotel with good amenities. There are fancier hotels with more and better choices but be honest for anyone wanting that they will need to be prepared to pay a lot more. The Lawton is very well located and has a lift which a lot of customers will find very useful. It suits my pocket and also my needs, I find it a pleasant place to stay.

Rooms are very old and tatty, carpets are ripped, cleanliness is not good, our radiator had years of dust inside, wallpaper hanging off the walls, kettle didn't work properly. The showers were terrible, a little trickle that was all. The floor in the bathroom was broken as you could feel a massive dent in the flooring. We did complain and were told it was a budget hotel. I wouldn't say its even good enough for a homeless person to stay in. Would not stay again.

It's a well organised and efficient hotel based on our experience. Good stuff - rooms were spotless, staff were efficient and friendly and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was good with usual ingredients. Not quite so good - not all rooms were ready by 2om, one lift and if you try to use the stairs you'll come out in the dining room (if you find your way!). Overall - great value and theres nothing much not to like. Special mention to the young man doing the rooms - so pleasant, friendly and helpful - a real asset to the place. Not quite so good -

Upon arriving, the doors were locked (for security reasons), but there was nobody at the reception to let us in. Thankfully, another guest did. Once we approached the desk, we were greeted very shortly and checked in. The room we got, looked like it was prepared prior to our arrival, but the bedsheets weren’t changed. We found lots of hair, sweat stains, and even boogers. We went back down to the reception to explain the situation, and the nice receptionist apologised and sorted us out with a different, bigger room, no questions asked. The 2nd room we were given was in a much better condition, however, it was pretty dusty. I’d chuck a pillow onto the bed and the dust went visibly flying everywhere. The customer-facing staff were really nice and helpful, but the cleaning staff did a very poor job. We value cleanliness. We were given 2 different rooms, and weren’t overly impressed with either of them. It makes us question how thoroughly/often everything else is cleaned (toilets, floors, cups, cutlery, plates, etc.).
