My husband and I just enjoyed a fabulous two night stay in this beautiful historic hotel. It has been tastefully and luxuriously refurbished and is very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they all seemed to love working there. We would love to stay again. The views from the grounds and our room were amazing. Very lovely and well maintained landscaped gardens.

A fabulous hotel in beautiful grounds with views of Ely cathedral from about 2 miles away. I think I failed to notice when booking that the restaurant was closed on Monday evenings. They offer excellent cold charcuterie plates instead, but we had been looking forward to dining in the restaurant.

Great location with spectacular views . I only had breakfast and the breakfast staff were professional with a focus on the customer . My negative is my room had reduced headheight with the roof structure and I banged my head twice in the one night I spent there . I would stay again but seek a room without this issue .

Great hotel very well kept. Only issue was the dining. I had seen a few pics of food and thought nothing of it but they were only serving charcuterie boards for dinner which wasn’t exactly what I was expecting as I thought they’d have had a full menu so had to go out to eat.
