The P&M Paignton RESIDENCE

Was a lovely stay overall, a couple cleanliness issues with the comforter on the bed having old hair on it but otherwise was a lovely kept room and hosts were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Paignton and an amazing location. I will be back soon!

Absolutly great stay

The owners made this property a wonderful experience.

Fast and pleasant check in with Dev. Free parking for a couple of cars, or there's car parks nearby, ranging from £5 to £10. Stayed in room 6. Everything we needed, Yorkshire tea, a fridge, complimentary bottle of water, hairdryer etc. Also had a fan in there, which we didnt need to use, as you can open the bedroom and bathroom windows and get a lovely breeze through. The room's really quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely room with a 4 poster bed. Very clean. Crisp white bedding. Convenient location with 2 onsite parking spaces. Would definitely come back.

Warm welcome from the proprietor. There is parking space for 2 vehicles at the front on a first come, first served basis, and free parking in the road during winter months, and a car park accepting coins almost adjacent. Access through front door is by wireless keyfob. The room had a small en-suite shower / WC area, FreeView TV and WiFi, but no bar or mini bar. The location is close to the seafront (Esplanade), and within easy walking reach of local restaurants etc.

The room was clean and spacious, close to everything, and when I arrived, Dev took my very heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs to my room. I would stay here again for sure.

Lovely hotel, very clean and really comfy bed. Called the phone number when we arrived as it states to, due to there being no check in desk and the phone was answered straight away. There are 2 parking spaces on he front of the hotel which we were able to park in and check in was prompt and straight forward. Room was very clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable.

This is a small family run B&B close to the stations, shopping area and the beach. The owners are welcoming and will do all they can to make your stay a comfortable one. Nothing is too much effort. Room 1, the only room on the ground floor is cosy, has a king size bed and shower en-suite. Facing the back of the building it does not have a view but it’s quite. Perfect if you have mobility issues. Room 4 has a double four poster bed, shower en-suite and side view of the sea. Facing the road it can be a bit noisy. Beds are very comfortable with medium/firm support. There is a small fridge in the living room that can be used by guest.

Spotlessly clean, very smart room. Very friendly welcome from owner. He really couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent. Wide choice of cooked or cereal/ fruit and yoghurt. Location is perfect.

Nice B&B, close to the beach. The hosts were wonderful and checked everyday to see if we needed anything. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and the zoo is in within half an hour walking distance.

No kerb appeal and parking wasn’t exactly easy. Options were provided, to be fair and it was close to the sea front so maybe that’s why parking is at a premium. Check in was a little rushed but the host was being very helpful. Foyer could do with a little “zhuzhing up”. Our room was fine, clean, comfortable with a very good bathroom and great shower. Facilities were decent with plenty of refreshments a fridge and TV. It was too warm to use the sauna, (didn’t really see the need for it but some might like it). Doors to the bedroom were oddly plain and didn’t give the right impression. I didn’t experience breakfast so cannot comment. On the whole there are no real negatives and it was an ok stay. The place is close to the town centre and sea front and I couldn’t fault the enthusiasm of the staff who greeted me even if things seemed rushed.

Stayed in double room. A little small, particularly the bathroom but adequate for our needs. Very clean, toiletries, tea/coffee & bottled water included & topped up daily. Breakfast very good & service excellent. Downsides: Surcharges are what brought our rating down & being told we paid more in advance than we would have paid even as a same day walk-in enquirer, which was £90 per night. If you want towels changing every day they charge, same with bedding. Parking was not included & was additional £5 per day. As we booked this short stay using the tescos clubcard partner deals, we still ended up just a bit better off than the 90 per night direct but would have been unimpressed had i actually paid the full price quoted on this site. Overall, lovely hosts, pleasant stay, good location & good breakfast.
