Loved the room, comfortable bed! Loved the tea and coffee and the makeup table next to the window was a lovely touch.

Work week starting with good breakfast and finished with evening meal and drinks, all staff cheery and helpful Will stay again

The Queen’s Head is wonderful all around! Very classy without being stuffy…beautifully decorated, very spacious room with comfortable bed. Nice amenities such as crystal drinking glasses, a kettle and an Italian coffee maker, and a fridge with glass bottles full of water and milk, all complimentary with the room. The pub is just beautiful as well, and the food was delicious. The staff are a lovely bunch. Loved my stay here!

Great place, friendly and great size rooms

Lovely stay, great rooms and nice staff. Tricky to find our way back to the entrance to the hotel after hours, due to the works, but we figured it out. Would love to stay again.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the welcome was friendly. But, we were nevertheless underwhelmed by our experience at The Queen’s Head. Dinner was okay although my partner did not enjoy his at all. The room wasn’t as clean as it could have been and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling which didn’t inspire confidence in the cleanliness in general. There was toilet roll stuffed into an evidently redundant bathroom door lock for some reason. (Maybe I am being petty, but changing the bathroom door fitting would have probably cost £20 if it’s really not fit for purpose…) In addition, we were woken 3 times by the couple with a toddler from the room next door who felt the need to talk her through the journeys up and down the stairs at the tops of their voices, presumably as they went for breakfast and then finally left. (Kid was relatively quiet in comparison.) Then, the housekeeping staff were loitering outside our room for ages, also talking loudly. Eventually, one of them knocked on our door to ask if we would be leaving today. Then she asked me what time we planned to leave. This was half an hour BEFORE check out time. Her tone was impatient, rude and she genuinely made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The lady who was there when we checked out was lovely, but the lady who was beside her, who had checked us in the night before and who had been perfectly cheerful then, was totally indifferent and didn’t even bother to say goodbye when we did.

Delightful place to stay. Having pub for breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening was so nice. The staff is so friendly! Room was comfortable and attractive. Hotel was close to transportation. Really enjoyed it.

Very nice staff. Great pub with good food

Nicely decorated quaint little "cozy room" had all the normal stuff that is required in a hotel room. Only issue was slight smell coming from ensuite. Food and drinks downstairs was fantastic!

My stay at Queen's Head was great. Most important for me the room was very clean. Soft mattress, pillows. Helpful staff. Definitely recommend

The manager Mimi and her assistant were so kind, so helpful and came to our rescue when we had an issue. They are the best! The coffee and tea were top notch as well.
