A really nice stay whilst we were walking The Dales Way. Stayed in room 2 which is on the top floor. It faces the road but there is no appreciable noise. Friendly welcome and food excellent, If in the area we will visit again.

We loved the pub and Alina really went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay/enjoyed our breakfast. We hope that they are able to get their plumber to fix their shower properly, as it fluctuated dangerously between scalding hot and cold.

Overnight stay. In the heart of Sedbergh, with public parking about 75m away. Food looked good but the menu isn't very adventurous so we ate at the Black Bull, just round the corner. This has a more upmarket menu at upmarket prices. Not very convenient if you have mobility issues and there is no lift. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were great. All in all, good value and we were not disappointed.

Very friendly pub/hotel... good beers/menu. The property was comfortable and warm but could probably do with a bit of a makeover. Enjoyable visit.

For a first trip by myself definitely felt safe and comfortable. Staff were amazing, so friendly there was always a good atmosphere. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. No parking but two carparks in walking distance can top up on a morning. Option to come and go from side gate so can avoid being in the way when pub is busy. Breakfast 10/10 Steak and Ale Pie 10/10

Excellent food at good prices. Room was a decent size and well decorated. Bathroom, although private, was a separate room, and not described as such when booking. Not a problem to ne, byt might have been to others.

Marvellous large room with a similarly large lounge, with 2 sofas and a large TV, plus a decent bathroom. Was slightly noisy early in the evening but that stopped around 11. Very friendly staff who were very keen to help. Just a shame I couldn’t have stayed their for longer!
