The Warwick by Aura Collection

I really enjoyed my time at The Warwick. There is room for improvement, such as the AC and Wi-Fi signal. Aside from that, it’s in an excellent location, within walking distance of main attractions and in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Decent room. Great area.

Not impressed! AC was advertised but did not work. After messaging the staff & sending multiple pictures of the thermostat settings (that they asked for) they finally said that all the AC was shut off throughout the building in mid- September. They told us to open a window, which was painted shut. After the first day we had no hot water. Not tepid or lukewarm - freezing. They told us we shared the hot water with the other guests but even at 6am it never warmed up. The “delux king” bed is a US Queen size and the bathroom is 3 feet wide - sit on the toilet and your knees touch the wall in front of you. There’s also no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. The shower curtain is several inches too short so while you take your freezing shower the water floods the bathroom. Definitely would NOT stay here again.

I missed the part in the description where it said no staff. Stairs were very narrow, quite dangerous; we had to empty our suitcases before using the stairs. Bed fine, room smelled musty, cramped,no chair; shower so small that normal movement bumped controls --- turned water off three times but could have scalded ourselves. Fire alarm went off, guests scrambled outside; 20 minutes later, it turned off, no fire department, no sign of staff.

Great location. Very quiet loved how it was all thru WhatsApp and ready to go once we arrived. Only issue was the shower curtain is too short so all the water was hitting the bathroom floor. Overall wonderful stay!!

Room was adequate.

Not what I was expecting. Had to request my check in codes twice. Asked for early checkin & that was granted in the evening after I was already. Greeted outside were bags of laundry-everyday on front stoop. Oh any a pile 4-feet high of boxes in the hallway outside my door, the whole three days. Basically a room in a house. Very loud in the hallway with people talking and the front door constantly banging closed. Room needs repaired and sheets were great.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was chosen because of of the Tube stop. BUT the bathroom was tiny, no shower door, the toilet was against the wall on one side and against the shower on the other side, super tight. We had never experienced zero staff on site, We are accustomed to staff and any provisions (Contental breakfast) or any staff to give us local pointers. Rooms were fair in price, after our stay I would definitely say our experience was underwhelming !

I am a well travelled individual. This is one of the worst places I have stayed. Really poor room which was in a state of disrepair, curtains hanging off the rails, dirty, smelly, stains all over the mattress, air con doesn’t work, windows don’t open, faces onto main road and poor sound insulation from the noise. Walls all stained, cushions dirty and stained, no chair in the room so nowhere to sit. Just dreadful. Reported the problems both to the ‘hotel’ and Expedia and got no help at all. There is no one there at the venue to deal with all this stuff so you have no options to resolve. My advice is to just totally avoid this company and their rooms which are just poor airbnb type arrangements.

We hated the bathroom, when we shower the water splashed out of it and there is no cover so the water is everywhere and no lock. Other then that everything is fine, just the bathroom.

Decent value for money clean comfortable but slight letdown was aircom which was in the room and powered would not work portable alternative ineffective.

Very noisy room at front of property. Could hear street noise, sidewalk noise and other guests entering and leaving. Water floods bathroom during showers. Location was good.

It was quiet in the building, some road noise. In general I would book it again. Easy to a bus or tube connection.

I didn't receive any information before I got there took forever in phone with Expedia to find out on top of the 1450. . They wanted another 50 . Dollars a night for the room then there is no way to lock door from inside..the bathroom windows were open with no screen.. there was a dirty towel behind some white cabinet next to bed..
