A great place to stay for a short break near Ilkley.

Another good overnight stay. Excellent value for money. Food good. Room more than adequate. Staff friendly and efficient. What mire can you ask for?

The staff at the bar were helpful and friendly. The food was not bad at dinner. Good location and good parking. Room was spacious. Temperature good with the use of a fan in the heat. There was no WiFi throughout my stay there which is not good when one is reliant on WiFi. Would return again next year.

Nice pub/small hotel in leafy district, close to a rail station. food was very good and overall all staff very helpful.

Excellent hotel, very polite staff eager to help. Quiet room recently refurbished with extremely comfy bed and hot shower. Fresh milk in the fridge a nice touch! Absolutely delicious breakfast, excellent choice, local produce all cooked beautifully. Highly recommended

This is the second time I have highlighted a safety issue in the bedrooms and I am more annoyed the longer that goes on. The rooms are clean and a little too warm at times, but perfectly fine if you don’t need huge amounts of space. Very quiet too but a little too dark with 2 out of 4 light switches doing nothing.

For over £132, I was disappointed with my stay here at the Wheatley Arms. It’s not the first stay here but I doubt I will repeat it soon. For the price, I at least expected a room with a bath but apparently the price for my room didn’t warrant that upgrade. Breakfast was disappointing, with eggs I believe were powdered, and a hashbrown that was so soggy and oily, it tasted vile. The room itself is small but comfortable. Very clean in the room and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The extractor fan in my bathroom didn’t work at all, making everything a little damp. There was a little bit of dirt around the sink but overall clean. The biggest complaint is the blind without a curtain, meaning I had little sleep. The one thing you want from a hotel is sleep. Finally, the safety cord for the blind was not attached at all, making this a massive hanging hazard for young kids and others. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Ultimately I’ll return to the Black Hat further in Ilkley as this is better value for money.

The hotel could not find our booking when we arrived, fortunately they did have a room for us. The room was so hot overnight we had to sleep with the window open where an extractor fan ran all night which was noisy but we also had to keep the Dyson fan on in the room to so we had a very restless night.

Absolutely lovely overnight stay-superb room (Number 2) including a balcony and outside sofa. Great parking and easy to find with perfect location for the Cow & Calf Rocks.
