Room was absolutely spotless. I had a great nights sleep.

Perfect for my stay. Good breakfast, quiet nights sleep.

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 kids under 6) and the family suite was perfect. Sean was such a helpful and friendly host and the breakfast was outstanding.

A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. My daughter and I were going out very early one morning and thought we would miss breakfast so Sean/owner made us bacon sandwiches and put cartons of juice in the fridge to take with us! The breakfasts were tasty too, full english and poached eggs on toast. We were greeted each morning by the owners two donkeys. We enjoyed sightings of squirrels, rabbits, and a green woodpecker. We had a lovely peaceful stay, would recommend, and hope to stay again as very close to my family and Ely, thank you!

Handy for Newmarket races. Breakfast ok Paintwork could do with touching up in places, but it serves my purpose and I will stay again

Really enjoyed my stay here, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I was to really, really 'nitpick' the WiFi signal was a little weak and I ended up reverting back to my mobile data, but everything else was brilliant and I'll definitely be booking here again if and when the opportunity arises. Have already recommended to several colleagues.

I had a really peaceful overnight stay here. Super hosts and excellent breakfast.

Incredibly kind hosts that went out of their way for me, allowing me to check in early as well as giving me a lift back into town for a wedding. Real, genuine people. Delicious home cooked breakfast arranged the night before. Secluded property off a gravel lane with only nature's noise to be heard. A real off-the-beaten-path gem. Loved being able to see donkeys, rabbits, and other wildlife right from my window. Great shower, warm bedding, and comfortable bed. Only qualm was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear some other guests chatting in the middle of the night, but wasn't too loud so was still able to sleep. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very quiet location. Away from everything. Friendly and helpful host. Enjoyed cooked breakfast too. Tea and coffee available in the dining area. Rooms comfortable. Had a good night's sleep.

Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels. The setting of the place was so nice aswell. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique. Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. I would stay here again!

Great place for an escape, great host, lots of walking tracks around, and routes into Ely, very relaxed atmosphere. 10/10

Fantastic property and great owner who went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasent one. Stayed to watch a concert at Audley End. Good transport options. Lovely breakfast.

The hosts, Sean & Jane were most accommodating and very friendly. Our accommodation is pretty much self-contained. Could do with a little bit of decorating but on the whole very good

My stay was excellent. The breakfast was really very good and Sean the owner went 'above and beyond' to ensure everything was done to make my stay perfect. Will I be going back? I certainly will.
