This an excellent hotel in a excellent location. It is a fantastic place to relax and chill.They have a great range of drinks from the bar and food from the menu which is cooked by a professional chef team from the kitchen. Service at this hotel is 100% with nothing being a problem. We highly recommend a visit.

Lovely hotel. Room was well appointed, clean, neat and very comfortable. The entire ambiance of the hotel was lovely. Understated opulence. However, let down, in my opinion, by the restaurant. Clearly a very popular spot and very large (but feels homely by the way it is spread around and compartmentalised (in a nice way) the food is expensive and simply not value for money. Fancy for the sake of fancy and barely adequate in terms of quality. Problem is the hotel is too remote to go anywhere else.

Stunning hotel and location - right on the top of South Yorkshire - close to M1, Huddersfield and the beginnings of the Peak District.
The room was immaculate and well dressed, lovely shower and views.
Staff were positive and helpful.
I also had dinner at the restaurant, which was also really nice.

Our only criticism was the breakfast which was very minimal - simply one choice-no cereal/ fruit or toast included- nor a top up of coffee offered. Very disappointing for hotel of this standard.

Comfortable bed,nice linen, towels and toiletries but the room lacked a comfortable seat(s),the tea making wasn't good,only one choice of teabag and two tiny biscuits. We were there three nights and the room wasn't serviced one of the days.

To staff were very welcoming and helpful, the property has obviously had significant investment, the quality of the rooms is excellent, the food in the restaurant is fantastic.
The car park is huge, and they are waiting for new EV chargers to be installed.
