Hotel with a very good location for those who want to tour London, close to Paddington train station. Check-in time, the staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast can be selectable as desired

The service is 10/10! The owner and his employees are extremely friendly, helpful, and kind! The only difficulty is there is no elevator and 4 levels of rooms, we were on the fourth floor but they took our luggage to our room and brought it down for us, which was really nice. They explained how to get the best deal using public transportation, filtered water was available in the lobby, a shampoo/shower gel in the shower, and the linens and bedding were clean. Location was amazing! 2-3 min walk to paddington station and walking distance to Hyde park. Cute neighborhood, lots of pubs and cafes. The lack of elevator was the only down side but the staff and location made it totally worth it. We would stay there again for sure! The price doesn’t include air conditioning but that is 10 pounds a day, the window opens I think in most rooms and the weather was beautiful so we didn’t ask for it, but just good to know.

The location near Paddington Station is excellent and gives great access to transportation. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is older. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is even smaller, so be prepared. Some rooms didn't have AC but our room did for an extra fee. Without AC it would have been too hot for us. Overall a pleasant stay for us and decent value.

The hotel was easy walking distance from Paddington station. My single room was very small but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Near stop 39 for the Big Bus hop-on-hop- off tour bus. The cons were steep stairs/no lift and the bathroom/toilet were so small I couldn’t close the door while seated. Would recommend!!!

This is my sixth visit.
The hotel is convenient, and good value for the money. I have stayed on the upper floors in front and in back; I've stayed on the LG level; and two summers ago, when I blew out my knee on my trip, Mehdi changed my room--without my asking!--to the ground floor, so I wouldn't have to manage the stairs.
Connan, Paul, Mehdi, Hakeem, and Buddha all took marvelous care of me again. I will be back.

Despite pre-booking a Superior Double room we were placed in a Compact twin room. The Expedia definition of the rooms includes air conditioning however on arrival we were advised if we wanted air conditioning there would be an additional fee. When I queried the room we were given I was told that the only difference between the superior and compact was the size of the bed and yet in the Expedia room description the Superior has a higher square footage and the room rate for the compact twin is less than the Superior Double. The receptionist offered no help in resolving the issue and suggested I take it up with Expedia. I do not see this as an Expedia issue, when the staff at the hotel put us in the wrong room. Very disappointing. Compounded by the fact that we felt like we must have been on top of an underground line as we could hear trains beneath us every 5 minutes! Would not recommend based on our experience.

The staff was super friendly. We were a group of 5 couples. We were given the option of paying extra for air conditioning. Only 4 rooms with AC were available. My room was far below the standard of the newly updated rooms. Make sure you get one of those. TINY bathrooms. Super convenient location.

The hotel personnel were helpful, friendly and accommodating. I knew from previous reviews that the rooms were small. That was ok - the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny. It was functional and I was impressed that they fit it all in that small space. While it didn’t bother us, you can hear and feel trains pass underneath the hotel. I chose this hotel for its proximity to
Paddington Station and it’s good price.
