First night we were put in the ground floor room. Whole night couldn't sleep as the ground shook every time the underground trains moved. Second night we were moved into a first floor room and new problem awaiting, the stench of sewage pipes permeate the room as soon as we opened the bathroom door. We complained to the front desk but they simply turned on the extractor fan, which only helped a little. Obviously the noise of the extractor fan is bad too, and we spent whole night feeling like we have fell into a sewage!

Staff are remarkably helpful. Rooms are small (standard for these converted London townhouses). Only downside is the rumble from the tube but that would be true of all the properties near here. Very convenient for wherever you want to get to in London.

I stayed here with my daughter for two nights. The location is excellent—right across from Paddington Station, making it very convenient for the Tube and the Heathrow Express. Our standard double room was a bit small, and there’s no restaurant in the hotel. However, the room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The front staff could not have been nicer or more helpful and the rooms were very clean. I did not do my personal best research as this is not the type of hotel I like to stay in. The one advantage is it's right around the corner from Paddington if you have a very early train.

The hotel couldn't be closer to Paddington station. This was super convenient for comings and goings, but absolutely terrible when trying to sleep or relax in the basement room that sounded like it was on the train platform itself. If you're a train enthusiast, you'll love the arriving/departing rumble of the Tube trains every 2 - 3 minutes. Luckily the trains stop from midnight to 5 am, so at least there are 5 hours of quiet. Staff is nice and welcoming. Just temper your expectations on the room itself

Unfortunately, if you value customer service and quality, this is the worst hotel you can stay in. We arrived at the hotel at 11 pm, and the room was probably 85 degrees despite it being March and 40 degrees outside. They refused to turn the central AC on, and there were no vents in the room to provide air circulation. We could not open the window as it was not screened, and we had allergies and asthma. They offered us a little fan to provide air flow. We woke up drenched in sweat due to the temperature, so needless to say, the tiny fan did not work. The following day we spoke to the front-desk to potentially talk about a refund for the two remaining nights we had, just to be told the manager had just left, despite calling three times prior in the day and told that he was not in either. We had to check out that night due to the lack of sleep caused from the stuffiness. We have proceeded to call at least ten times since the end of our stay for almost two weeks now. Each time, we are told the manager is not there. Every time we called, we were told he had left for the day, or that he was on a two week vacation. The receptionist, Usha, went as far as to lie about her name and throw the sweet receptionist (whom we spoke to prior to checking out) under the bus to prevent negative reviews tied to her name. We caught her on her lie and she promised to have the owner call us back. It has been over 48 hours with no call. So unprofessional and rude overall.
